Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I wanted to stay in touch with the technological side and also improve my programming skills. The faculty and student ratio is quite nice compared to other colleges as different subjects have different teachers. Teachers here use ppts, books, etc. for teaching purposes and even conduct doubt classes. The sessional/internal exams happen three times and then the practicals and final semester exam.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Some of the companies that offer internships are Accenture, Flipkart, Cipla, Dabur, Zee News, etc. which give a minimum stipend of 25000k. They train the students as per the role of internship and then the final step is to submit a project.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for placements from the 5th semester. Companies such as Accenture, Hcl, tcs, wipro, amazon, Cipla, Flipkart, etc. visit our campus. The highest package was 17.5lac for around 100 recruiters.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study is around 130000 per year for my course and the transportation fees are also included along with the uniform that the college provides, no extra charge is required for these. Laptops are also provided but if we don't want them then their charge is reduced from the total fees. Scholarships are provided to the new admissions based on their 12th merit.

Campus Life

Pulse is the name of the annual fest that is conducted every year for the students which includes various activities including dance, music, open mic, etc. for students. Apart from this various tech fests and cultural fests take place every month. Sports teachers are present in our college which always conducts sports fest in college for inter and intra college competitions. A drama club is also present for acting enthusiasts. AIML group is also present.

Admission

For BCA, the admission is done based on the merit of their 12th marks. Students who wish to apply can either visit the campus and fill out the application form or can visit the official site of ims and apply there. There are no fees for applying as per my knowledge.

Placement Experience:

Best for college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

The Good and the Bad about BBD University by a second year student

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

Talk about why I choose BCA I want to become a software engineer and many people in my family have placed on good posts after being inspired by them, I chose this course. All Faculties are good and everyone has a lot of experience in their work also support students. Faculty qualification is best and their way of teaching and explaining is also good. Placement Experience:

From the 5th sem we eligible for the campus placement, There are various highly-reputed companies that come for the placement such as Microsoft, Paytm, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, hcl, etc. Their average package is 2.2 lakh per annum And the highest package is 10 lakh per annum, The average of students for the placement is 80-90%. My plan is to get a good placement from there and to do a job for one or two years after that I will prefer higher education.

MY 2 YEARS COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

To tell you the truth, I did not know about the college, I had applied after seeing the package and had seen the reviews, but this college is not so bad, something is better than nothing.
