Remarks

Overall it is good to stay at IIT Bombay because instead of mugging up or getting into job or something you will learn yourself here, your strengths and weakness.

Entrance Preview

I wrote JEE-Advanced examination and got selected for Bachelor's degree Aerospace Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. I struggled a lot to get into IIT during my 11th & 12th, without my parents and teachers it would not have possible me to crack IIT. There is no interview process but instead before Advanced examination we are supposed to crack main examination which was implemented during our tenure. I'm interested in research in space then I thought to get admission in either Aerospace or IIST then finally after getting results I chosen IIT Bombay Aerospace Engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Yes it is pretty good where it reached half of my expectations. There is more about theoretical learning which is kind of applications on practical life. Yes there are many initiatives taken by our institute.

Internships Opportunities

Yes they provide very good internship in our college life. We definitely get a office experience during this period. Stipend you can expect minimum of 10k per month.

Placement Experience

2

Placement is pretty good here. Mostly every person will place here unless he has some skill or interest in major areas like finance, analytics etc. During my time mostly IT and Analytics were visited a lot. Average package is around 8-9 lakhs/annum

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is around 70k in which 20k is for mess and hostel remaining is for tuition fee+courses

Faculty

4.5

Everyone is skilled in their respective research areas, well qualified and have minimum of experience more than 3-4 years in teaching. They were really friendly expect some professors, they share their experiences in their research fields and make us understanding those applications in the course we took.

During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.
