Best Engineering college

Campus was very very big with biggest sports ground ever seen at any of engineering colleges. The only one biggest problem of this college was transportation facilities and the location of college otherwise the college was perfect in terms of best engineering college.

Myself after having Maharashtra State Board HSC examination I prepared myself for AIEEE & MHTCET examination in which I scored maximum in AIEEE on that basis I was selected in first round of online admission cap round & then after during admission I was inspired at college by civil engineering stream due to the availability of well equipped labs and machines at this college

Universal college of engineering from which I passed out is affiliated to Mumbai University hence the course curriculum was similar to other engineering colleges basically total 8 semester for four years of bachelor's degree. But in this college I found that the faculty here focused more on practical and research hence we were been given internship every 6 months after semester end for one month training at field in real world. In last year we were also forced to perform one research in college to participate in national level paper presentation held at Svnit Surat. In last year we had elective subjects based on transportation engineering and it's used in today's life.

Yes college from 3rd semester onward started providing internship to each and every student of every branch on basis of marks we use to get companies and also the stipend on average rs 5000/per month.

Placement at universal college of engineering was little bit challenging because our batch was the first batch to get passed out from this college but from total batch of 60 students around 30 students managed to get placed from college campus recruitment itself.

Our college with support of students started Technical event named VYRO an technical fest held for 4 days consisting of sports and technical activities for fun, enjoyment, learning etc.

Fees structure actually during the starting two years was less than any other engineering colleges of Mumbai but later in third and fourth year the hike in fees structure was like a hole in pocket.

College also provided various scholarship for poor students who could not afford technical education on basis of their merits and performance in engineering each years

Extracurricular activities like national level paper presentation, national level sports participation boosted my confidence level very much due to which I am confidently facing all problems occuring in life in real world

Actually I didn't stay in hostel nor our college had an hostel facilities but the canteen here was very clean and hygienic with affordable cost for various food items served there.

Alumni network of our college is also very strong because our trust is almost performing best over past 20 years in education field with various number of junior colleges and number of international level schools in Mumbai.

Exam pattern was 2 unit test per semester and it was normal but the booring part was big assignment given by the faculties.

For faculty of universal engineering college I would give five out of five stars because they were highly qualified with masters degree and also faculty was very helpful and forced us to participate in every extra curricular activities so that we can be an all rounder with all required qualities for today's job world.
