Remarks

I have said enough about my college it was a platform for me to grow in life and know myself in a better way...my teachers were always supportive ..I got my life time friends my college met my expectations

Entrance Preview

There was no entrance exam but a small interview ..I knew about Delhi university colleges previously but I choose Dyal Singh college as I loved the campus and the faculty which I had herd about was awesome

Course Curriculum Overview

I was into bsc life science I choose this course as it has lots of scope in future and I think I made the right choice my college was very particular about practical...we were taught everything on practical ground..no there was no research initiative taken at my time

Internships Opportunities

I had never shown any interest in any internship projects so I have no experience with the internship group as well

Placement Experience

There was not much placements for the science students and being in science course I have no idea abt the placement cell

College Events

My college participated in all cultural technical and managerial fests every year it was being organized by the college and its was on grand level bands were being invited various events were organized and all the colleges under DU participated yes the college authorities were involved in the organization

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee was affordable My course fee was just 8000 per year and 1300 for every semester exam including practicals

Campus Life

Our college was into all kind of extracurricular like NCC, dance, singing, drama, art, and culture, debates ...yes every student was given the equal opportunity to participate and perform. It was awesomely memorable.I enjoyed every moment.classes, canteen, ground, outing, point, hang out with friends

To the best of my knowledge my college didn't have hostel facility

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes..we had an interactive alumni..we had meets regularly and we had excess as well ..alumni was very well in concern with the overall development of college and student

Exam Structure

It was a very nice and comfortable environment in college at all times even in exam times also.just one thing that I was to share is it was little stressful when the exams were near because of the practical files otherwise it was good

Faculty

In one word, college faculty was best. My teachers were very experienced, highly qualified ..except few temporary teachers ..teachers interacted a lot with students,it was a very friendly environment in class

Placement Experience:

placements cells were little challenging . there were really less near to zero placement were there .so thats a problem you have to go for higher studies to get a good job and financial stability mostly students do this only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

Maitreyi college's BSc life sciences is a three year course and admits almost 130 students . The average package is INR3.40 LAKHS but is very difficult for the students to get placed under this course

Shivaji College Experience

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Well you need to very lucky to have been a part of Sri Venkateswara college.Only think we missed back then was auditorium and hostels which am sure are there now.A very positive and caring vibe you got.Reddy Sir our principal in last few months invited me to share tirupati prasad he got that was the level and depth of community interaction and love.

Remarks:

Canteen of the college is not much good. But it is good for a student. We can make our career in different field from this college. It has provided us playing material so student cam play there favourite game

I have applied for I have applied for few of the north campus colleges and few other colleges from the South campus. I got confirmed admission form DCAC. I chose it because I am a tabla player and music society is very good. The admissions are generally accepted to CUET UG examination. No I didn't applied for any other college and I choose this college over other college because of the course and the exposure which I get in this college it might be possible I will not get in any other college.
