Likes
- Overall experience in ARSD College is the one in a lifetime achievement type experience. I got various new friends of same vibe, we used to chill together we used to study together, play together and we have joined various cultural societies.
- College faculty is also good and supportive they support there students in every possible way they provide us with beat library, sports ground, canteen and classrooms.
- Placement and internships are also good not that much but yes they are more than average. Various companies visit our college every year and many students get placed and various students get internships.
Dislikes
- I would say there are nothing much to dislike everything is good but i would say college should upgrade there classrooms as they are so old they should be upgraded to keep the future generations and technology in mind.
- Also college should make girls sports team in every sports for there empowerment.
- Also college should invite big companies so that placement cell should gain more popularity and students can get good career options.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I want to learn computer languages and coding so that I could remain updated in this digital world. And also I could get a second option for my career, as my first preference is UPSC. Talking about faculty so the faculty is quite good and experienced and their way of teaching is quite good. And student ratio is also good and ratio have qualities quite focused students are there I think this all happens due to faculty. Teaching methods are also good practical classes also happen from time to time. Exams are like a festival that comes every 5-6 months and the level of exams is also good if one has a good knowledge of the whole syllabus and has attended maximum classes can easily achieve good marks in exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees in colleges of university of delhi is feasible to everyone's pocket and that us the best thing about DU. Talking about my course fee so it is around 15000 per year. Which is submitted online and offline also. And tes scholarship is also there which is given by college only that is fee concession scholarship and it is given on the basis of marks scored by a student in his current year and personal interview is also conducted after that only selected students get the scholarship. And there is a placement cell of college who helps to get internships and placements to students.
Campus Life
The campus life is quite good and entertaining with a healthy environment and a diversity of students. In our college various fests are conducted Including the biggest fest that is annual fest of college TIDE. There are various societies and clubs run by students they also conduct there annual fests and all the fests are conducted in the month of march. There are societies like dance, music, drama, NSS and debating societies. The sports facilities are also good in our college there are various types of indoor and outdoor sports like cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, carom, table tennis, etc. Also there are college of teams of different sports.
Admission
The admission process at the time of my admission was online due to covid 19 pandemic, but I would like to say that the process was quite smooth there was on delay by the college/university administration. My course is bsc physical science with computer science and for that the eligibility criteria was that one should have science with maths in his/her 12th class and should have basic knowledge of computer subject. And if I talk about application form and fees so we can apply the form online and these forms comes every year in the month of April. And talking about reservation benefits so i get benefit during cutoffs for different courses and colleges because I belong to SC community. I didn't think that there should be as such improvements but the website should be update with every passing year so that if many students open site at the same time so they don't feel any glitches or buffers in the process.
