Course Curriculum Overview
I fondly remember my graduation days at RNSIT. I happened to meet some of the most inspiring teachers of my student life. The strong fundamentals I was equipped with during my graduation has helped me transform into a confident engineer, that I am today. After 10 long years, I am still in touch with the department of ECE, RNSIT and I can confidently say the institute has preserved its culture and has evolved into a better educational institute.
Internships Opportunities
During our times, not many internship opportunities were available. This was true, in general with any college. I have heard that stuents land many attractive internship opportunities these days at the institute.
Placement Experience
The college offered numerous placement opportunities to the students of our batch. I was fortunate to land jobs with 4 mass recruiters to begin with (Infy, Wipro VLSI, Mindtree, Accenture). I was later placed in Cypress semiconductors, a core company for electronics students, with a high end package. I follow the campus news even today and I can say that the core plaements for the students of ECE has only got better with years.
Fees and Financial Aid
I remember paying ~ 35k INR per year. I was a rank student through out my stay at the college. The generous scholarships offered by Dr RN Shetty along with Central Govt scholarship I was receiving covered 50% of my engineering fees.
Campus Life
College has a vibrant culture when it comes to extra-curricular activities - both technical and non-technical. College has a spacious and well maintaned library. College conducts many fests - Parichay, Pantheon etc to name a few.
