Sports amenities are very high and ground maintained is good.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chooses this course beach I got it in counseling. The faculty-student ratio is 1:30. Qualification of the teacher is a minimum Ph.D. and very good teaching. For every 40 days, there is a mid-exam. And after four days of Mid 2, we get the semester examination.

From 7 semester people are eligible for placement and nearly 200 companies visited and nearly 4000 students are placed and highest is 1.07 crore and the average is 8lpa Nearly 95 percent of students get placed

Fees and Financial Aid

There will be no fee hike for tuition fees and there is a nearly 10 percent hike for hostel fees. Many scholarships are provided by the shri raja Rajeswari scholarship and we can get up to 50000 refunds of tuition fees.

Campus Life

Tech fest is a techno VIT. Sports Fest is vibrance. Books are very highly available. All amenities are available in the classroom Sports are available and equipment will be given in the sports room Clubs are countless

Hostel Facilities

Hostels in Vit is very good and here in hostels, there are many good facilities and services are also good in hostels. OR hostel registration is based on the CGPA of a student. While coming to food I was staying in hostels

Hostel Fee: INR 135000 per year

Admission

Eligibility is 60 percent in 12 the class must write the VITEEE Entrance exam. We can find the application in it. ac. Then we must attend counseling. there will be no reservation benefits there is perfect admission process

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. Admission process in VIT is as follows:- 1) write VITEEE exam cause vit doesn't considers jee scores. 2) you must have above 60 percent in boards and above or equal to 60 percent in PCM aggregate. 3)cutoffs, past papers, closing and opening ranks are not revealed si can't say much regarding that. 4) overall admission experience was decent...Read More

Is VIT worth it

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains. The syllabus for the same is similar to jee mains and the good thing is it has no negative marking. All 12th pass students with a minimum of 60% are eligible to write this entrance test.
