Entrance Preview
Given JEE Main exam for admission. I have many other choices for the college but seeing pec’s previous rankings and experience of people I decided to choose this college, moreover exposure of city Chandigarh is pretty much good. No there wasn’t any interview for admissions. I have very much love for the machines and engines from my childhood, as engineer comes from engine, so I decided to choose mechanical.
Course Curriculum Overview
I love the course as it is of my choice. Pretty good focus on giving us practical skills. Yes, for Ph.d and M.tech students research initiative have been taken.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, college do provide internships. I’m in 2nd year and college give intern in 3rd year i.e., 3rd semester, so I have no experience of internship.
Placement Experience
Placement scenario is good. More than 90% students get placed. The companies are- maruti, honda, Itc, nestle, amazon, Infosys, Microsoft, hyundai, L&T, and many more. More than 100 companies come to are college. I can’t list them all. Average package for college is 7.50 lacs and for mechanical branch is 6.25 lacs.
College Events
Many event of different clubs and societies held in college but main event is our cultural fest PECfest and technical fest Vyom. They are very big with average footfall of about 40000 people from different colleges. Organisation is mainly handled by students college only give some fund.

Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, college give scholarships to economically weaker students, handicapped students and to class toppers.
Campus Life
Their are many clubs and societies in college to perform extracurricular activities. As there are many clubs so we get lots of opportunities to explore ourselves.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I’m hostel resident. Room are ok in condition, but they are single rooms. Hostel fee is about-50000/year. Food quality is also good except for a day or two in month.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes alumni do contribute for development of college, recently our branch alumni has donated a machine for our lab, contributes toward college development a lot. I can’t write whole contributions as there is a lot of it.
Exam Structure
Yes, during exams we get little tired. But labs and workshops have the chill culture. They are very interesting.
Faculty
Faculty is very good obviously except 1 or 2 teachers in whole department. Each teacher is at least M.tech with experience of more than 5-7 years. They are very interactive, we can ask them any question while they are teaching or can go in their office or we even call or whats them our problems.
