Remarks

The college hasn't been branded as one of the good colleges in DU which the authorities need to promote in order to improve it's rankings.

Entrance Preview

Admission was based on 12th class board percentage and there was no interview as such. Maths has always been a subject which has driven me to work more and more hard. Moreover it has great future career prospects.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course has recently been started and the emphasis is more on proof related questions in both algebra and calculus. We have practicals in Mathematics classes. Computer science is my elective subject.

Yeah there are many internship opportunities which the teachers and the college staff keep informing us but as such not many in the college itself.

College Events

None till yet, only the ARSD youth conclave organized by our English debating society.

Very cheap regarding other colleges with an annual fees of around 11,000 rupees

Yeah the college provides study and book grants to poor kids.

Campus Life

There are a lot of societies practically for every kind of students. So it aces as far as extracurriculars are concerned.

Hostel Facilities

There are no hostels in college and most students are living in pg where the quality of food is not upto the mark. The average pg prices are 10-12 thousand per month

Exam Structure

Till now we haven't had any external exams and the internals have been a simple but learning exams.

Faculty

The teaching faculty is impeccable as mostly the teachers have done PhD in the respective subjects and are keen to solve problems of students related to the course and in general too.

placements cells were little challenging . there were really less near to zero placement were there .so thats a problem you have to go for higher studies to get a good job and financial stability mostly students do this only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

Maitreyi college's BSc life sciences is a three year course and admits almost 130 students . The average package is INR3.40 LAKHS but is very difficult for the students to get placed under this course

Shivaji College Experience

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Well you need to very lucky to have been a part of Sri Venkateswara college.Only think we missed back then was auditorium and hostels which am sure are there now.A very positive and caring vibe you got.Reddy Sir our principal in last few months invited me to share tirupati prasad he got that was the level and depth of community interaction and love.

Best college of DU for Mathematics

Remarks:

Canteen of the college is not much good. But it is good for a student. We can make our career in different field from this college. It has provided us playing material so student cam play there favourite game

All about ARSD.

I applied to a lot of other colleges under Delhi University and some private colleges, i chose this college over those because overall it was a better and reputed college. Fees is quite affordable, attendance is managable, well infrastructure, based in a good locality, good connectivity and several other reasons.
