this college gave me more than what i ever asked for, friends who became family, teachers who came the guiding lights, pune that became home and a profession that became life.
Entrance Preview
i gave the MHCET (Maharashtra common entrance test) through which i got DYPCOA through the cap rounds. Well i was always fascinated by buildings and the engineering that in making them and i did not want to take up the conventional route to engineering hence architecture as i also had a creative bend.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course was very defined with all the elements placed according to the semesters and years accordingly. There was a lot of focus on practical learning through site visits, study tours, architectural appreciation visits. There was a research conference held every year by the college a an annual event with people presenting there research papers on various topics. There were a whole lot of elevtives available to choose from (technical/design electives)
Internships Opportunities
we had a compulsory internship in the 9th sem for 6 months which was to be found by our own although the college did provide us with references.
Placement Experience
we did have a placement cell who gave references but there is no architecture college in India that provides placements to the students.
College Events
we had an annual model making competition called builtech, annual sports week, annual cultural week called revive, annual international conference and a whole lot of other events
Fee Structure And Facilities
it was affordable as compared to other architecture colleges and the infrastructure provided by the college. the annual fees ranged brom 70-85k per year.
Fees and Financial Aid
the scholarships were provided to the EWS students.
Hostel Facilities
i resided in the hostel and i must admit it was amazing than most of the hostels i have ever seen. the rooms were spacious with attached washrooms/toilets, the wardens were lovely and the est part there were no in-timings.
Alumni/Alumna
There is a strong alumini network with the tagline"all for one,one for all" and even a whatsapp group with all the atched who have passed out till now to remain connected and be of help to the coming students.
Exam Structure
no we had a semester pattern for the exams and it neither was a chilled out culture nor a hectic one just the right mix of both.
Faculty
the staff was well qualified and very well versed with new trends in the market.
