Remarks
The Dayananda Sagar college has one of the best campus compared to other engineering colleges in Bangalore. The auditorium is very nice it can accommodate up to 1000 students and many cultural events other than college are also conducted here as it is one of the best auditorium It was Accredited with A grade recently approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Govt. of India and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University.
Entrance Preview
I wrote KCET and got entrance to this institution.There was no such process as interview to get into this college.The entrance was based on the KCET ranking.I am studying Information Science Engineering (ISE) ,I chose this branch as most of the company are recruiting people based on programming skills and ISE is an programming based branch
Course Curriculum Overview
The course i opted was good.It was almost similar to computer science Engineering,There is much focus given on the programming skills of the student. The HOD of our department is very hard working and motivates the student to take up mini projects and other activities like Hakathon, workshops based on the subjects
Internships Opportunities
college does not provide internship according to my knowledge.
Placement Experience
Placement is going well but the graph of placement is going downwards compared to the number of students placed last year.major companies like JP Morgan,Dell, Infosys, Oracle etc visited our campus.Over all percentage of placement in our department is 90 with average package of 3.5 lakhs
College Events
We have VIBRATIONS cultural events in odd sem and FURORE college fest in even sem.Last week we had VIBRATIONS it was vey well organised.We had guests like DHRUVA SURJA (actor), SRIMURALI(actor).The fest is celebrated for 3 days All the contribution for the events was from college as of to my knowledge
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college is private so it is much expensive compared to other colleges even if you go through KCET (government seat).The yearly fees is almost 83,000 and they take exam fees extra which is almost 1,500 The hostel is also very expensive which is almost 1,00,000 yearly
Fees and Financial Aid
college provides scholarship but i do not have any because i am general category student it also helps student getting loans
Campus Life
College also organised sports events and technical events It has vast computer labs and a huge ground
Hostel Facilities
There are 2 type of hostel in our college one is NRI and the other is Indian NRI is costlier than Indian its almost 1,50,000 but it has attached bath room and it is only 2 sharing with plenty of space and furniture for the students whereas iIdian is 4 sharing and has no attached bathroom costing almost 1,00,000.Hostel food is good they also provide Non-veg on some days

i am studying in 3rd year and i have not met any alumni until now
Exam Structure
Exams are not conducted frequently we have only 2 internals and both are compulsory. The exams are conducted once in a month
Faculty
All the faculty are well qualified they have either done their Phd or pursuing them. faculties are very interactive they respond very well when we ask questions and answer either immediately or next day. The faculty teach either using chalk and board or using projectors and PPT based on the topic.
