My college days

For me this college is good . I was satisfied with the faculty and placements . The college was very big and the girls and boys ratio in the college is 4:6 . We enjoy a lot .

I entered this college by management quota and actually I thought to join in my state engineering college .I'm from telangana state and i got very less rank in my state entrance exam . after my father decided to join me in Bangalore colleges so that I had only the management quota option at that particular time for this college .the other way to step into this college is by merit basis of CET exam. I took ECE branch in this college .there is no interview for our college.

The curriculum in our college is good and it involved industry visits, project submissions, assignment submissions, labs. For total 4 years, first year runs the basic engineering topics and topics covered until 12th class. From second year the core comes into play and now for me the core subjects started and I was enjoying this curriculum.

Yes there are internships in our college and college provides us one company and gives us one opportunity to take Internship. If we were interested in that company that is up to us , we can opt for it or we can select from out side by our own.

There is no problem with the placements. The core companies that visited our college are L&T , Infosys , HCL , dell , Bosch , Cognizant, Wipro, HDFC etc. Almost 80-85 % students get placed in these companies and every year this continues nearly the same. The highest salary package recorded for college is 11.5 Laks per annum and there is an average salary package of 4-5 Laks per annum.

We every year celebrate technical fest, cultural fest and department fest tooo... We had many festivals during our year . We had the famous technical fest acharya habba, for this almost many other engineering colleges students visited and participated in this fest . This year we had our cultural fest , it is inter college fest and we had a great time in this fest .other fests like srujan is also celebrated .

There are scholarships for BC , SC , ST students and also scholarship will be given on basis of merit scored in semesters and there are loan facilities too in our college.

Hostel facilities in our college are just ok and maintenance is good. There are double sharing rooms and triple sharing rooms in our college. I'm staying in triple sharing room and my hostel fees will be around 1,30,000/- per annum. This fees includes food charges also. The food will be good. There is WiFi facility in the campus and speed will be good. There are pgs also around the campus.

The alumini network is good . They help during our placements and they increase our soft skills and there are many alumnis for our college .

Our exam structure will be a bit different while compared to other colleges . Our every semester consists of theory exams and two lab practicals . We need not to worry about marks in exams there will be best of marks , there will be 3 internals and they consider 2 exams exams in which we scored 2 best Marks. For weekly there will be many labs but they won't be like chill culture.

The faculty in our campus is with lot of experience and with high qualifications . They interact with us in better way in which we can able to grasp. There is no problem with the faculty. They gives us many assignments and many projects but this is not their problem , this is the part of the curriculum and theit responsibility. The teaching standard is satisfying one.most of the faculty here are with phd's and masters
