The friendly campus and faculties. The safety feeling.
A best place to showcase all our talents and excel.
Extra curricular activities like Beauty therapy, rampwalk.

Dislikes

The timings. I am aided student so my timing is 8:10.
The internals and model exams. We have less holidays.
Very less celebration and culturals. Less enjoyments.

Course Curriculum Overview

I opted for this course because my ambition is to become an IAS officer and there were job-oriented courses in the college in which IAS coaching was given by DEV's IAS academy. Staffs have enough knowledge of subjects. we have to do two online Nptel courses and we have to complete 15 days of a community outreach program and so on to get our degree certificate in this college. you will have one internal exam and one model exam and a semester exam for one semester.

Class Size: 54Course Fees: INR 14000 per year

Placement Experience

The placements in our college are so good and it is worth the money. At the end of our degree, various MNC come to our college. Our college degree holds a very certified place outside of society. The viva is conducted and the candidates who showcase themselves as unique are chosen for the placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Reliance Foundation scholarship worth 1.5 lakhs. I am currently pursuing a degree in my college and there are many more scholarship opportunities given in college and you can make use of it.No there are placements available in college.

Campus Life

There is Karishma every year in college and there are several competitions held in the college and there are several clubs like NCC, NSS, YRC, yoga, sports, and so on. There are several books in the library that can be used by college students.

Hostel Facilities

College hostel rooms are neat and the food is good. Especially the afternoon food is delicious in a college mess. If you want a college hostel you have to apply earlier. As I did my admission late I was unable to take it. So I am in a private hostel. Its name is THULASI LADIES HOSTEL.

Hostel Fee: INR 78000 per year

Admission

The application was online and after going through all the application they will send you a message whether you are selected or not. The application fee for this course was 100. All the information will be given on the website. All streams such as biomass, computer science, commerce, etc. can apply for this course.

Life at PSGCAS

Placement Experience:

The placements were okay in our college, it starts from the second year onwards in respect to diff degree. For economics it starts from 5th semester onwards. There were many companies who visited including goldman sachs, deloitte, zoho, tcs, accenture etc. and the package starts from 1,20,000 to 12,00,000 rupees per annum.

Madras School of Economics - A Comprehensive Review for Bachelor's

Course Curriculum Overview:

Has a lot of new age courses like MS Excel, Python and Data Science. It prepares you fairly well for roles like Data Analyst, Financial Modelling, etc. Areas for improvement include optimising the curriculum load as per the students. Two internals (one after a month after sem starts, second a few weeks before the end sem) and the end sem. I feel the end sem is relatively easier due to the preparation we endure for the internals.

MCC - Education meets culture

Course Curriculum Overview:

Political science syllabus in our college is pretty upgraded. The way it's structured is also pretty good. For a student of Political Science, they first gives us an introduction of the discipline theoretically explaining the subject before moving to it's real life examples. Out syllabus covers almost everything that is required for a Political Science graduate. Faculties make it even more effective using assignments and their lectures. We also have inter-disciplinary courses.
