Remarks
Overall, my experience has been good. This college has one of the best campus which is of international level. It also has a large parking space and many places nearby to hangout. All in all, it is a place of both fun and learning.
Entrance Preview
When i had joined the college a couple of years ago, it was running under VTU University. So i had written CET after which i was allowed admission to the BE course. However, this year it has become autonomous, hence an aspiring student is required to write DSAT in order to get admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
The electives are just for name sake. We were given an option to chose between C++ and VLSI, however there were no teachers available for the respective subjects hence we were forced to chose the ones decided by the faculty.
Internships Opportunities
The college did not provide any internship. We had to get it from outside.
Placement Experience
About 80-90% of students got placed. The major companies that came up were Infosys, Accenture and Cognizant. Most of them were software companies and the average package was 3-4 lac per annum.
College Events
The college conducts a national level fest every year called FURORE.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I had joined through CET, hence the fee was quite affordable. But the students who joined through Management quota had to pay a huge amount of donation (between 6-7 lac) in addition to 2 lac of fee.
Campus Life
There are many extra curricular activities conducted regularly. Many big celebrities come down to the college to promote their movies. The college auditorium is one of the best.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility was quite good, especially the food being provided was prepared very hygienically and was pretty delicious.
Faculty
There are just a few well interactive and experienced teachers. The others are not very dedicated and it is up to the student's capacity to make up time and self study.
