Kirorimal college is a very good college for one to study as well as learn new things.
Entrance Preview
No there was no entrance exam involved in my time even though now there is. In my time I took admission on cut off basis which was more than 90% I chose my course in this college because this college comes under Delhi University and that too north campus and it is very well known fact that north campus DU colleges are the best.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course is very much good as we not only learn but also come close to mother nature. Yes ofcourse there is practical learning. Our students are taken to PUSA every year. Not only PUSA they also go to trips like kerala,manali etc for research and discovery of latest plant species
Internships Opportunities
No college doesn't provide us with internships but students can do their own internships in other DU colleges
Placement Experience
No as such the placement scenarios are not so good
College Events
The fest and freshers organised are on a very large scale with many celebrities called in our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As kirorimal college is a government college so the fees is very much affordable by students of all categories. For example my fees is around Rs.11,000 per year which includes cost of practical instruments also along with class based learning
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes scholarships are provided. I did not avail for any.
Campus Life
The college provides excellent base for exploring inner talents. It has many renowned societies like sensation (the dance society) players( the drama society), FAPS(the art society), music(the singing society) and many more to count. I too am in sensation the dance society since 1.5 years and we have won many a competitions last year.
Hostel Facilities
No I don't live in hostel but I have heard the rooms are well ventilated and clean. There were sharing rooms and food too was good
Alumni/Alumna
Very nice interactions with alumini. Yes the college provides platform for student alumini interaction. Yes the alumini contribute in overall development of college and students for example the fund given by Mr amitabh bacchan to our college.
Exam Structure
Sometimes we feel tired but most of the times it's not the case. We all love doing our practicals because they are not only easy but interesting too. Even if the practicals are boring they are made interesting by interactive teaching
Faculty
The faculty is too much experienced. One of my teachers has been teaching since 20 years. And the environment provided by them is very home like. They are very interactive and ready for helping us whenever we want their help. They are very cooperative and loving.
