Faculties are fabulous as they have holds many experiences and expertise in their field

Course Curriculum Overview

As I want to become a doctorate so I have chosen a Ph.D. in IIT ROORKEE. One faculty have 2 students each. They all are post-doctorate and Ph.D. holders. After every 6 months, there is an exam held on campus.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no hike in fees and the cost of study is cheap. There is scholarship like MHRD and JRF with HRA. There are many routes of financial assistance on campus for needy students with great minds and excellence.

Campus Life

There are many tech feet such as COGNIGENS and THOMPSO. There are many books available like journals, reputated books related to subjects. Sports contains sports meet, inter-IIT competitions, There are many groups like sports groups, cultural groups, hobbies clubs, and research groups.

Admission

The eligibility criteria of course are GATE and NET JRF with a minimum of 60% in MTech. We can get application forms at the IIT ROORKEE website. No there is no need for any improvement in the IIT ROORKEE admission process.

Interview Experience

Yes, I face GD regarding the role of AI in disaster management. Other criteria for Ph.D. admission are not available you can only apply through the gate, net. I have practiced many times with my friends to face group discussions round.

Study Ph.D at DOMS IIT Roorkee

Remarks:

DOMS IIT Roorkee involves students in deep research work in the different functional areas of Management. Besides, the facilities for doctoral research for meritorious and aspiring students are provided under full time and part time mode. UG degree with 60% marks and master degree also with 60% marks followed by GATE /NET score and GD, PI are required for the admission.

Seminar Halls are their and they are spacious. university has made every effort in creating 3 Seminar Halls that are fully equipped in every aspect. Each and every Seminar Hall is fully equipped with Fully Air-Conditioned, Adequate Lighting Arrangements, Proper Presentation Screen, WiFi Connectivity, Wireless Microphone (Mic) and other Sound Arrangements, PA System etc.

The feeling of being in IIT Roorkee

I didnt applied for any other colleges other than some iits which were iit bombay, kanpur, roorkee, guwahati. Just these four and nothing because i got a decent rank in JEE Adv 2025. No i didnt get rejection from any college with my rank in jee main and advanced 2025 The admission process is straight like 1) JEE main 2) JEE Advanced 3) Josaa counselling Cutoff for top seven iits is higher than all other iits neans that you cant get into top seven just by qualifying jee advanced, you must have a good rank....Read More

IIT ROORKEE - A SCRUPULOUS REVIEW

I took part in jossa councelling and got it . I was happy with any of seven old iits . In better way , i would be happy in going any top iit. Moreover i choose it because of it's weather and location. Rest all things are similar to all top iits. Nothing is less in iit roorkee. You have to give jee main then jee advanced. If you get good rank , you will get this college. You will have to get air under 5000 to get in iit roorkee or any top iit....Read More

IIT ROORKEE in a nut-shell

As we know IIT ROORKEE is one of the oldest engineering college in while asia and has a very good alumini connection and placement record so i chose it and it is also closer to my home. To get into IIT's you have give jee mains and then advance and then you get your college according to your rank. IIT Roorkee - The complete story

I had 4 main options in hand after JEE - BSc Physics in IISC Bangalore (I had cleared KVPY), Electrical engineering in IIT Indore, EPH in IIT Roorkee, and Computer Science in Nit Trichy. I did not choose IISC, as I wasnt sure whether I wanted my career to be in research. My coaching faculties advised me not to take an NIT when I was getting a top 7 IIT. It was a tough choice choosing between EE in IITI, and EPH in IITR. However, at the end, I choose Roorkee because of its legacy, better facilities, and a calmer environment.
