sprawling campus

there are some of the facilities which were provided by the college which was very good but some of them were not so good but it was appreciable to me. but now the college has improved a lot when compared to the situations which were there when I was studying. the overall experience of this college is good and affordable. The college having a sprawling campus which is surrounded by a calm and education-friendly environment, conducive to quality higher education.

the entrance exam written by me to enter the college is kcet for BSc , which will be held all over the Karnataka for the students who wants to enter the BSc course. since my native is Chikmagalur and this college is also in Chikmagalur, it was easy to me in selecting this government college and the course which i wanted to choose was also available in the same college. by this way i landed up in this college. there was no interview process during those time since we were writing the kcet BSc entrance exam to get inside this college. i was interested in teaching field in my future after doing my masters so i was very curious in choosing the BSc course

i chose BSc in botany and i am very much interested in flora and its living habits, it was a very good course which i chose and it gave me very interesting knowledge about the plants and its habitat. so by this i felt this course a very interesting one. this government college gave me much preference to the practical learning and all the facilities required for doing the practical things was provided and the college showed very much interest in doing the things practically. the college was taking very much research initiatives in all conditions and it has also helped most of the students in succeeding under research field. there was no elective options given by the college.

there was no internships provided to the students by this college at that time so there is no much experience in sharing about this.

there was no placement provided to the students and neither there was any companies which came to our college at that time. so i have no idea about this

the events conducted by this college is very enjoying and the college was supporting all the students to participate in all the events which was conducted by the college and this was making a friendly environment in the college campus. the events conducted by the college was not so big but it was appreciable.

the fee paid to this college was affordable since the fee which we were paying to this college was a government fee and it was not so much of high cost as of now. even my parents were very happy that i got a seat in a government college and they also felt very comfortable in paying the college fee. the fee that was paid by me at that time was around 2000 /- including all the college fee.

the college was providing very less scholarships to the students who were in the poor condition. i didn't get any scholarships from the college side. the college did not help in getting the loans.

the extracurricular activities conducted by the college was not so great but some of the extra activities were conducted in the college. i got some opportunities to explore my talent in front of everyone. the facilities given to all the people during the events were good

i am not a hostel resident and this college was not having the hostel when i was studying.

there is no alumni interaction with the students . the college did not provide any proper facilities to interact with the alumni.

the exams conducted by this college was not boring and neither it was making any students tired at the end of the day. all the students were enjoying in writing all the exams

the faculties in this government college were well qualified and had very good experience in both teaching and also in practical based knowledge. most of the faculties were phD holders, so the faculties were very interactive with all the students. the faculties were very interactive in all the conditions with all the students. they were sharing their experience with all the students. the standard of teaching was tremendous
