Remarks

The college pretty good. Environment is pretty sound and the campus is ragging free. Infrastructure takes all the credits away as its the best. college is a place where you enter with a dream n a hope for your future . i was no different n came in with a motive of getting the best out of it. It has been good here in the university. We get plenty of time for everything. we can have fun, go to the library and have time for extra curricular activities.

i gave JEE in 2016 . I did not do any good in that exam. the only option i was left with beside dropping an year was to get into a private college. i was given admission on the basis of my JEE score. I wanted to do my B.Tech in aerospace engineering but i couldn't so i always had a backup plan n that was CSE . I knew i was equally passionate for CSe .

Course Curriculum Overview

i chose CSE. It is a pretty good one. ( only if only if you are willing to learn ) we have one lab every week for data structures ( the main subject ) + teachers have been very supportive. We are currently working on our first project that is voice activated home automation based on arduino. elective - German

Yes, the college did provide us with internship. We took lots of experience with us. The average stipend amount was 10,000

Placement Experience

Recently many comapnies have visited the campus. The students above 7 GPA got placed . the major comanies were LG , Dabur, WIPRO etc. Average package - 5 lakhs .

It was quite affordable. i am paying 62, 000 fee per semester.

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

I think in the matter of the view it, it is far better than the universities, they have really good view and the society is quite clean. The nature of the outside of the university is very nice. Very greenery around the university, but there is a issue in the green tree that there are so many wild animals around mountains.
