Course Curriculum Overview

This college has very good placement, even the IT department has even good placements than IEM and heritage so I took this college without any second thought, the faculty is also good in this college, they are very friendly they support you in every aspect of your life they are very good and the ratio is like 1 faculty for 10 students.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 480000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of this college in our time was 44000 per sem but now I am not sure I heard that it has gone up to 55k or something, I personally got 3 offers and I was fully satisfied with the opportunities it provides being a 3rd-tier college.

Campus Life

The campus life is very good, it does not have any campus it only has a college and canteen and a basketball court but the place it is located makes it very fun pace, Newtown is a very beautiful place, it's also near Biswa Bangla Gate.

Admission

The eligibility of the course is that you should have 60% in your 10 and 12 marks and you should have P CM in 12 and for taking an admin in this college you should have to take WBJEE exam and you should get at least 40000 ranks for getting any branch, for taking CS and IT. You should have at least a 25k rank. For WB domicile there TWF category for less fee payment. The admission process is systematic and good.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
