Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course since it have a wide scope in recent years. There are approximately 50 professors and 240 students (i.e. 1:5). Most of the professors completed their MTech, MSc, and Ph.D. in renowned colleges. The term exams are 4 months once.
Placement Experience
The students from the 6th sem are eligible for placements. Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, TCS, cognizant, and so on. The average package can be 4LPA. The highest can be around 32LPA. Around 60% of students are placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are divided into sections i.e. college fees and government fees and they can be hiked once in 2 years mostly and it would be convenient for students if government fees come a little low. SSP scholarship is available.
Campus Life
The annual fest is Vibration and it is conducted in March. There is a wide range of book collections in the library including digital libraries. The infrastructure in college can be improved a lot. Sports are conducted and students are encouraged.
Hostel Facilities
The room is provided with lights, fans, and cupboards for each student. The menu is different for each day and the meal quality can be improved. Application forms should be filled out.
Admission
I took the kcet entrance exam for an engineering course. The students must pass all the subjects in their PUC II. The complete application process can be found in the kcet website provided respectively. I had a 371 rank.
