Remarks

It is one of the reputed college of delhi university. Infrastructure can be improved and also canteen food could have more varieties.

Entrance Preview

There was no entrance to get admission in Delhi university. I got this college through merit basis as per the university guidelines. The cut off comes and then we have to rush and register the seat. No, there was no interview process. I have my own interest in life sciences and also there are good opportunities in this fields.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum was very well designed by the university. There was 60% theory and 40% practical pattern. So the college also focuses on the practical learning. There was no such , research initiative taken by our college.

Internships Opportunities

No, college does not provide internships. The students themselves have to search the internship in their final year of graduation. Since it was not mandatory so I didn't avail any. Stipend may or may not be their in internship i m not aware of that.

Placement Experience

3

The placement scenario in our college was average. The students those who had taken participation in placement among those 70-80% got placed. I didn't participated in any placement activity as my first choice is my higher studies. Don't know much names of companies that visited the campus but yes i have heard of wipro. The average package in our college is around 5-6 lkhs only.

College Events

3.5

There is fest which takes place every year. There are lot of smalls events in that. Dancing, singing sports events , battle of bands etc. The footfall is great the students from various colleges take participation in them. The organization were very good and facilities were completely under the control of authorities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees of our college is very much affordable just around 8000/- per annum after including examination fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the College provide the facility for the students to get scholarship. They need to fill a short form and the amount of scholarship varies from category to category. General students are always at last. Yes, college also help students in getting loans to the needful students.

Campus Life

3

The college is average in extracurricular. Most of the events are of sports, and quiz. We get opportunities but it can be more, of the college provides more competitive level then it would be great to students in terms of development of their skills and talents. The facilities of the events are good.

Hostel Facilities

3

No, there was no hostel facility in our college. The students from different states has to manage their residence by searching the pgs that are located in societies near to the college campus. The rent was also high in Delhi around 8000-12000 per month. Food quality i don't know as i didn't tasted it.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, there was a short session in which the alumni were allowed to share there experience with students. This was the only platform where alumni student interaction took place. Alumni has separate society which helps in college development and advertisement.

Exam Structure

There were a lot of class tests taking place and also lab work and reports are also get mixed with them. The scheduling was improper according to me. Many of us get frustrated with that much messed up datasheet. So, with surety there was no chill culture. I feeling of pressure was always there with us.

Faculty

4.5

The faculties are highly qualified Nd very much experienced around 10-15 years of teaching. Around 50-60% of faculties are into their PhD and few had completed. Their notes are very much effective and helpful. The teaching quality was overall excellent.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.
