Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Electronics and Communication engineering because of passion towards electronic. The faculty: student ratio is 1:65 and the faculty is well-qualified and are mostly Ph.D doctorates. Midsems and Endsems are conducted in each semester and are a bit difficult to pass for average students.
Internships Opportunities
Sprinklr, Google, Oracle, D E shaw, Uber and many other big companies offer internships at NITK and the stipend offered is around 40k-2Lakh per month. The roles that companies offer are related to software development.
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities at NITK are great and more than 80% of students from different branches get placed every year. Students get placements in the third year. The highest package for the year 2022 was 45LPA and the average package was 13.12 Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Oracle, Uber are some of the well-known companies that visited the campus this year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees here don't wary much every semester and the cost to comes low. Students belonging to SC and ST category get Financial Assistance. Many students get internship opportunities during their third year of engineering and most of them get a stipend.
Campus Life
The Cultural fest, 'Incident' at NITK is well-known and is conducted during March and the tech Fest 'Engineer' is conducted in October month. Not all the required books are available here. Coming to Sports, there are large playgrounds and courts for different types of sports.NITK has many clubs like IE, IEEE, ISTE, FARC etc. NITK also has its own website and app known as 'IRIS' where students can check their attendance, marks and many more details about the campus and academics.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility here is average.Each room has chairs,study tables,bed,a cupboard and a fan.The rooms are cleaned twice a week.The mess food is average in most of mess.Non-veg and veg food is in some of the mess.The registration process occurs only on college's website and is a very simple procedure.

Being one of the top NITs, NIT Karnataka provides good internship and placement opportunities with Quality Education from well-qualified PhD doctorate professors. Coming Hostel Rooms and Mess Food, The boy's hostels need a little improvement and the Food Provided Is Good In some of the messes.
