I choose civil engineering as I want to do job in PSU .Examination occurs twice in a semester .First mid semester then end semester .and 20 marks of TA .Examination in moderate to difficult. Have to study in class .faculty is well qualified almost all have done PhD in their respective department .in my class around 75 students are there

Internships opportunity are provided in summer or winter break and student can apply from 3-4 semester onwards.Many companies provide internship either though on campus or off campus .companies provide around 15k stipend for Internships

Placements of NIT rourkela is quite good .Students from 7 semester are eligible for campus placement. Many many companies visited this college.highest package of this year was around 83 lakh per annum and average package was around 12-13 lakh per annum. Around 90 percent student got placed or remaining go for higher studies .after my degree I am going for higher stuudies

Fees structure of this course is 125000 per year .if you are in top NIT or Top IIT there are very possibility is that you will get internship and scholarship. Environment is very good in top colleges as every student is doing something. I got a scholarship from FFE .

The most important thing in top college is social environment which you will not found in private college or low ranked college .environment is extremely cool. Every year fest and competition occurs .Inter NIT sports and cultural events took place .there are around 70 clubs in NIT Rourkela. Our central library is well equipped. Many clubs like monday mornings , ritvic ,aashraa and many more clubs runned by students

Hostel facility in NIT Rourkela is well too good ..it's very very clean , large garden in every hostel .in first year 2 students share a single room .water cooler , washing machine everything is provided .mess is quite normal .veg and non veg choices are there .breakfast in morning ,lunch in noon , snack in evening,and dinner in night .

I give Jee Mains in 2022 .I got 97 percentile in jee mains and 12000 rank in jee advanced. I choose NIT as I get better option here . JEE MAINS examination held every year .After clearing jee mains cutoff which is around 90 percentile for general category and around 80 percentile for obc category. Admission process and branch filling is done by Josaa process .we prioritize branch according to our choice then at our respective percentile and category we got what we deserve. In my case my percentile was 97 and I belong to obc category and I got civil engineering .
