Well, currently I am pursuing Bachelor's in Technology in the Electrical engineering department. I choose this course because well this was the best branch I was getting after the counselling rounds. But a circuital branch in one the best colleges in our country is pretty good for me. Well now about the faculty members in this college is well..most of the faculty members are Bengali which might be a problem for some but all of them are highly qualified you can when check this from our college site you will get all the information there. almost all of them have done there PhD from IITs and have many research papers in their name. Now for the exams as my batch was running late our First year was only 8 months long..so the exams were quite quick to come..but yeah if you study for only a week before exams sincerely you will get good grades.

Some companies which provide you with internship are Microsoft, Texas Instruments, Google etc. They all come to our college to provide internships. They also provide stipends to the students in the range of 30,000 to 50,000 which can be different from this figure also.

Companies start to come to our college to provide internships from the 5 semesters onwards. many companies come to provide placements and internships to our college offering in different fields including tech, core, analyst etc. Almost 80% of students easily get placed here...without any problems. Many prominent companies like Google, Microsoft, Texas instruments etc. So yeah if you are qualified enough you will get great placement here.

The cost to study in NIT is pretty great and this college is no exception. You are provided with different types of fee waivers and you can claim many scholarships provided by the state or some private companies too. We are eligible for almost all of them as the NIRF of this college is pretty good. You can easily get loans also from the banks inside our campus(UCO BANK, SBI BANK). Overall this college is pretty affordable for almost everyone

The annual fest of our college is named REBECCA which is the oldest fest in all of India. The tech fest of our college is named INSTRUO which is the biggest tech fest in Kolkata. Both of these fests are highly anticipated for the students and for outsiders too. They attract big crowds from the City and from other colleges too. IIT KGP, and NIT DGP students also come to attend our fest and enjoy the atmosphere. You can learn more about these fests from our Instagram page. Now about the library. our library is named RAMANUJAN CENTRAL LIBRARY it has a collection of over 150000 books and journals and the timing of its operation is also great. it is open from 10:00 am in the morning to 12:00am in the night so that pretty good. Now about the sports facilities we have 1 cricket ground (Lords) 1 football ground (oval),1 basketball court, 1 volleyball court, 1 swimming pool,1 amenities building which consists of all the different types of clubs( for more info refer to our college website)

We have a total of 16 hostels on our campus. There are 3 girls' hostels on our campus which accommodate all the girls on our campus and all are well maintained for their date of establishment to be fair. The meal quality is well eatable, to be honest not too great not too bad. The registration for hostel facilities is done on the day of admission itself which won't be a hassle it will be smooth. One important thing is that you will be sharing your room with three others from the 1st year till the 3rd year you will be provided a single room only in the 4th year.

Well to get admission to this college you have to clear the JEE MAINS examination as it is an NIT. Then we have to go through the JOSAA Counseling to get admission to this college. After the counselling, you are summoned to the college for the admission process. You are given about a time span of one week to get your admission done. You are required to get some important documents which they will tell you to bring on their site itself and they will provide you with a phone number to get your queries sorted. Overall the admission process is pretty smooth.
