Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose the CSE course because of trends and my personal interest in computers. The course syllabus is similar to the syllabus of Nits with very few changes. The faculty here is also very supportive of everything that works here on the reviews system. The college has developed a unique way of improving the curriculum by taking reviews from students. Though is strict about academics and does not tolerate any misconduct. A mentor is provided to check on the academic progress of students also there is 1 faculty for every 20 students of a class. All the teachers are well-qualified and experienced in their field and they are well aware of modern teaching methods. They also provide activities to learn the concept in a fun way also examination process here is also very organized. The college takes 2 mindsems exams in the gap of 40 days so that no stress comes on students. It and an end sem in lasts .exams are easy to pass The college also provides a special program for selected students for their personal growth.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

The college does arrange internship programs by collaborating with different companies but I don't have much information about the stipend internship as I am studying in the first year and didn't get to explore much about the internship provided by College.

Placement Experience

4

The college provides campus placement for fourth-year students. Many companies visited College for campus placement such as TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, infocepts, cognizant, amazon, tata motors, etc. The highest package of 2023 is 25lakhs and the average is 4.5lakhs. College assured 100 placements to those students who sit in placement. But only those students who have cleared all the semesters without any backlogs and have 7cgpa are eligible to sit in placement. The college also started the Eagles program which trains the top 100 students to get jobs of the higher package but the placement round of any eagles program students is yet to happen. I plan on doing a master's from iit College after graduation as I like to study advanced topics of my subjects.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since YCCE is an autonomous College the fees of this college are on the higher side for the open category but College provide reservation and low fees structure for different categories so that they can afford it. The college also tries to provide scholarships to open students through different NGOs. I personally got a scholarship from infocepts 30000 from college. College management helps a lot with college tuition fees. They also allow us to pay in installments. But there is a fee hike in college every year Even though they do not inform about it.

Campus Life

4

College life here is amazing. Most of the students studying here are day scholars. The college frequently organizes events under different departments and there is an annual fest in the month of April. The infrastructure of the college is amazing it has all the facilities such as a swimming pool, turf, playground, medical assistant, internet facilities, etc. And the library has all the books required for the curriculum and other competitive exams. They also provide books on a semester basis. where any student can keep books for the whole semester. There are many clubs in this college. Some of them are media clubs, literature clubs, anime clubs, coding clubs, sports clubs, and astronomy clubs. They all organize different activities such as stargazing, reading, movies screening, poetry, and many other events on a regular basis to improve the talents of students.

Admission

I took admission through jee mains score. The admission process is started by mahacet. a local body of Maharashtra that provides admission processes in all the colleges. Admission in this is based on the cutoff of the entrance exam mhcet. One can fill out the form for admission on mhcet website when the counseling starts. Other than this college also offers a 20 percent reservation for the Institute level quota from which one can directly take admission without participating in a centralized counseling process. The form for admission is available on the college website ycce.edu . Application fees can cost 1200 rupees or more. Once you fill out the form you will be given a date to confirm your admission for which you have to visit the college. All students are also required to verify all documents in the Facilitation center before admission. List FC is available on the counseling website of mahcet. Reservations are provided for different categories. Which allowed low tuition fees and low cutoffs.
