Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I am interested in electronics. I also read that in the upcoming years, India is going to manufacture semiconductor chips hence there will be an increase in demand for ECE engineers. It maintains a good faculty-to-student ratio. The faculties are highly qualified most of them have completed their Ph.D. from some prestigious IIT or even from IISC Bangalore many have also completed their studies from foreign universities. Exams are held twice a semester and they are not hard but the markings done are not as desired and there is no relative marking hence tough to maintain cgpa.
Internships Opportunities
Students are eligible for internship from 5th sem i.e. 3rd for on campus although many get internship in 2nd year also. Many companies visit for on-campus internships but most internships are from off campus approach.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for internships in 3rd year. Many companies visited for on-campus placements like Ti, Microsoft, Qualcomm, etc. The highest package is the 1.2 crore off-campus and the average placement is around 8-9 lac per annum. Almost 85-90 % of students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for students having a family income of more than 5 lac is 72000 per sem academic and 29,500 per semester for mess and hostel. There are also scholarships available on the basis of family income if it is between 1-5 lac2/3 rd fee waiver on academic fees, and full fee waiver if family income is lesser than 1lac. Sc/st are provided full fee waiver on academic fees. There is also various scholarship like Gaabesu and others.
Campus Life
Life is quite good nighttime is awesome. Students have full freedom to roam around the campus. Girls have some in-time issues but it's okay. Our library is one of the oldest libraries in India and has a collection of varieties of books and journals. We have feats and extracurricular activities going all around the year but our main fests are Instruo technical fest and REBECCA cultural fest. We have many sports events like IPL IFL Ekatra knockout RPL Wolfam SPLand many others. We have many clubs and most of them are quite active.
Admission
This is a 4-year course the admission is taken through Jee's main exam and through jossa, dasa, and csab counseling. We have to physically report after csab counseling for document verification and other processes.
