Remarks

The college is good and for those who only want to study then this is the best place for them but if you are looking for work life balance then reconsider your options . But overall it is one of the best colleges in Delhi.

Entrance Preview

To enter MAIT you have to get a good rank in IPU-CET . There is no interview process you just have to fill in online counseling and if your rank is good they will offer you the seat and you have the option to retain it. As i am interested in web development so i took IT branch.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is good till now . There is a lab everyday to focus on practical learning . up til now i haven't seen any research initiative but societies of the college are good.

Internships Opportunities

The college does not help in providing an internship you have to work hard and get it yourself.

Placement Experience

Students from all over the streams got placed with maximum being from CSE followed by ECE, MAE, IT and EEE. Totaling over 500 offers this year, Infosys was the highest recruiter followed by Cognizant. One offer from Microsoft was also bagged with Newgen, Nagarro and Practo Technologies constituting the new comers this year. Consulting firms like ZS Associates, Ernst & Young, etc also gave two figure offerings. Indian Army and Indian Navy also picked 15 and 5 students respectively

Fee Structure And Facilities

Total fee is 1,15.800, Tuition fee - 97,700, university fee - 12,000, security - 5000, activity fee - 1000.

Hostel Facilities

Actually i don't live in the hostel but i know everything about them . the rooms are small but pretty good. there are both single and sharing rooms . there are PGs in front of the college which are a pretty good option as well . hostel fee is 1,00,000 per year . the food is actually pretty good and snacks like chowmein etc. are also served

Exam Structure

You have labs everday in the first year and you have seven subjects . the course is big and life gets a bit hectic with files , assignments and exams .

Most of the teachers are Phd or are pursuing Phd . Teachers are good and interact well with the students . The standard of teaching is great, all teachers give assignments to help the students and clear their doubts .

From 6th-7th semester students become eligible for campus placement The placement process starts in July August of the 4th year and continues until March pril Students can apply for internships from the 3rd year, and many companies offer PPO (Pre-Placement Offers) based on internships Some of the top recruiters include Google Microsoft Amazon Adobe Atlassian Apple Deloitte Goldman Sachs Samsung Salesforce Bain & Company Flipkart Myntra (I copy pasted this from college official pdf and from website) Highest is 85+ lpa i guess according to dtu website and some seniors also told me that Overall average package is 15-18 LPA for btech Common roles offered include Software Development Engineer (SDE) Data Scientist -Data Analyst Product Engineer Business Analyst My plans after getting degree is --getting a core placement in oil refinery or oil rig

Descriptive Review of MAIT.

Placement Experience:

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

The placement status of the college is nice but specially the older status was amazing and the seniors told me that this year was the recession time so the placement was not so good but it will be good with time

Placement Experience:

The eligible students get placements, from 4tg year first semester onwards placements will start, companies like Accenture, tcs, infotech, wipro will attend. I think atleast 7GPA is min required for college placements

Life of a college student

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum.My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated.For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem.There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Delhi Technological University: A place for overall development

Placement Experience:

College placements are amazing. Right now the recession is there otherwise the average package of Computer Software and IT branch is as high as 21LPA and overall average package of the college goes as high as 14LPA

igdtuw is a good college with best placement

Placement Experience:

placement in igdtu is as good as dtu and nsut , many companies visit our campus every year like google, amazon, microsoft, adobe, vipro, uber, ola, atlassian etc. the highest package in 2023 was of 51 LPA by microsoft and average package is around 20 LPA

DTU PROS AND CONS

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki,etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
