Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good but it can get better as we are studying some of the old tech. which are of no use at present. Some of the faculty members like Dr. Avinash are so good, they have very deep knowledge about their subjects. I chose this course because I have an interest in electronics. The faculty: student ratio might be somewhere around 1:45. Most of the faculty members have done Ph.D., so they are experienced but the teaching method is not that good because most of the teachers play presentation during a lecture and they just repeat what is written in that presentation rather than explaining. But some faculty members like Dr. Avinash are so good at teaching, he always makes the lecture interesting and has an old fashion of teaching with chalk. The exams were of medium difficulty if you have the basic knowledge you can pass exams. The mid-term exams start after 6 weeks and end the term after 12 weeks.
Internships Opportunities
As of now, we have received an internship opportunity from EMertex which is based on Embedded systems. This internship opportunity is for ECE and EEE students. Another opportunity was provided by DRDO. The projects should be based on IOT and ML.
Placement Experience
The placements provided by the college are quite good. So many companies come to college for placements. From the 7th semester student become eligible for campus placement. There are so many companies like TCS Ninja and digital, ZS associates, Nagaro, Accenture, etc. that visited last year. ZS associates provide around 50 offers with a package of 13lpa. The highest package was around 18lpa and the average was 6lpa last year. Around 75-80% of students got placed. I have decided to sit for the placements and side by side will start preparing for GOVT. exams from the 7th semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure consists of caution money of rupees 5,000 which is one-time and refundable, a Tuition fee of rupees 1,17,200 per year, university fees of rupees 15,000 per year, and other fees of rupees 1,000 per year. Therefore the total amount to pay is rupees 1,38,200. I didn't get any scholarship because I am in the general category. Currently, I am in 3rd year therefore I don't got a job right now.
Campus Life
The Name of the annual fest is' XTASY' which was conducted after some 4 or 5 years in the month of April. The tech fest 'BVEST' was conducted in the month of March. All the books and journals are always available in the library which you can study in the library or you can issue them. The library has a capacity of around 120 students. All the classrooms have ACs and projectors. There are so many sports like cricket, football, volleyball, table tennis, and basketball that you can play, there are so many clubs like IOSC, MLSAC, ZAHIR, IEEE, and EDC for different activities in which you can work to gain experience and can have good exposure.
Admission
The admission process was pretty easy. You have to give JEE MAINS to get admission to this college, after passing the JEE MAINS, you can apply for counselling. To fill out the counselling form, you can fill it out through JOSAA which does the counselling for engineering colleges in New Delhi. For the general category, you can get an ECE branch between 55000 to 285000. If you are from the reserved category then you can get this college at lower JEE ranks also. There is also a reduction in fees for reserved categories and many scholarships for the same. The admission process is simple and easy to understand so as of now I don't see any kind of improvement.
