Course Curriculum Overview
The best part of the college is its faculty and course curriculum. You are provided with sufficient knowledge of the topics you need to know to prepare for any exam(like GATE). The college has highly qualified professors with good teaching experience. The teaching method is soo practical. (except for one or two) The curriculum makes students knowledgeable and understanding. In a semester there are two exams, 1. Mid-semester exam 2. End-semester exam The semester exams can be easily passed if you study properly and pay attention to the lectures provided. You can easily get up to 6-7 CGPA.
Internships Opportunities
Companies come to PDPU for offering On-campus internships at the end of 3rd year. Jp Morgan Chase offered 4 students international internships in the UK and converted them into PPOs. Students also get work-from-home internships. As a fresher, I don't have much information about internships at pdpu.
Placement Experience
The placement of PDPU is good. From the 7th semester, the student becomes eligible for campus placement. Many companies visited the campus for campus placement some of them are Amazon, Google, Goldman Sachs, jio, TCS, Infosys, cognizant, L&T, Adani, grow, etc. For CS highest package is 25 lakh and avg. The package is 7.58 lakh. For ICT highest package is 25 lakh and avg. The package is 6.09 lakh. The percentage of students getting placement is 80%. My plan after graduation is to start a business.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee for one semester is 1,20,000. Tuition fee 1,17,000 Semester enrollment and examination fee= 3,000 PDPU offers a vast range of merit, need-based and sports scholarships to UG, PG and diploma students. Offered in the form of full and half tuition fee waivers. The students are required to have minimum SPI in the first semester and in every subsequent semester. IIC(innovation and incubation centre) offers you a campus job(with a stipend).
Campus Life
PDPU is totally different experience in terms of campus life compared to another university. In terms of infrastructure, dance, music, culture, fashion, drama, sports, arts, photography, etc. One will get the best opportunity to cater their skills. In PDPU two main events, 1. Tesseract( conducted by science and technology committee) 2. Flair ( conducted by social and cultural committee) The library has lots of books, magazines and newspapers. There are more than 30 clubs serving almost all types of co-curriculum activities. The lush green campus and sports facilities make campus life very lively.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is one of the best amenities in our college. Great facility with AC in every room, LAN cable (200-300 Mbps), study table, bedsheets, pillow, and mattress. There are three hostels, 1. UG boys hostel 2. In campus girls' hostel 3. High-rise Food quality is average (better than another college).4 time meal a day is provided. The registration process for a hostel is conducted through e-mail. Hostel accommodation is available on a first come first serve. The hostel fee is 89,500 The mess fee is 48,300 another good option to stay is PG. one month's rent is 10,000 for A.C and 9,000 for non-A.C.
Admission
PDPU(formally known as PDEU) takes admission in two ways. 1. All India quota (JEE MAINS) 2. Gujarat residents (ACPC) 67% seats for All India quota and 33% seats for ACPC. Talking about B. Tech in PDPU eligibility is 12th pass(45%) with science A group. The application form is available on pdpu.ac.in, the application fee is 1000, and application dates for 2023 are closed. The application process of PDPU is soo smooth.
