Course Curriculum Overview

I am pursuing this degree because I am inspired to become a new anchor one day. Faculty in my opinion is good. The student ratio is approx 30 in modern media which is quite less. Faculty are well qualified and some also appear in news channels. The teaching method is average in my opinion. Coming to exam is a continuous evaluation process. Where you will get continuous assignments and you will be marked on your assignments. And also exam are taken mid terms and end terms for some subjects and assignments will also be given. The exams are not very difficult

Fees and Financial Aid

I think in my opinion fees are a little high. Maybe because of the good infrastructure and the location that is in the laps of mountains makes it a little costly and they provide you with some industrial visits that's why it is costly. I don't have much idea about the job as I am not yet completed my course. But the placement is good as they say. The package is not as good as compared to fees but students also get selected in Noida tv and all so it depends.

Campus Life

Annual fests are conducted and many other activities and fests are conducted. You will be very happy and enjoy the fests. Books and journals are always available no need to worry about it. The classroom is also good. They are a variety of sports, and extracurricular activities on the campus can't name all of them. There are Instagram pages run by students and other things like social groups, clubs or websites run by students

Admission

The admission process was not so difficult. The admission team helps you in every step of how to complete the admission form and they are also available on call till 6 or 7 pm and by mail. The entrance exam was taken the questions were average not so difficult or easy. The eligibility of the course is 12th pass with a maximum of 45% only. You can easily find the application form on Google and the fee information. The rest admission team will guide you. They speak politely and they are always there to help you. The admission process is not so difficult. I don't think so at any improvement is required

Courses also very nice because I choose this course that I can become a rap and Film maker and I think they are making me push forward on doing that work and we are very helpful in nature they want their student to gain success

Life in Graphic Era hill university dehradun

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit our college every year and mostly all of the students are placed based on their capabilities. Highest package of mass communication is 16 LPA and average package of 4 LPA. My plans is to become a journalist after the completion of my course.

My experience is good but there are always some exceptions.

Placement Experience:

There are campus placements for the course but as far i know they are not that good in packages. Apart from this university also offers in house placements to our course. I know many students who later joined the university as professionals

Our course circullim is extremely basic and I feel doesnt delve deeply into the course at hand. We have been allowed to choose our electives in our final year and I feel we should got an option to choose our electives in the second year to gain more exposure and clarity in the field we are interested in.

Placement Experience:

It totally depends on student how they build up their cvs and skills they need to score good marks and be attentive for the placements. As soon as our last year of course reaches our college arranges placement drives . Our placement rate is quite great and maximum number of students do get placements by the ending semester.

Good old college days.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm not sure that what I'm do after schooling then i got to know about mass communication and journalism course. Some say you will be reporter, some say anchor, but my inner voice says barbaadi ki rah, like my colleagues are very disappointing person, actually not all but some. I enjoyed the college to the fullest and during my 2nd sem I left an exam and just have a mindest to give back for that paper, like seriously i just left the paper to feel how people or students do hardwork to clear thier back in exam, don't think that i didn't clear it, I passed it. Now I'm missing the college, the campus and etc.

Mediocre College, don't set expectations too high

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was severely outdated, with least emphasis on the practical learning which is ironical for a course like Journalism and Mass communication. The emphasis was just on the theory lecture and even there not in a single semester the syllabus was completed on time.

Placement Experience:

From the 4 semester onwards students become eligible for placements. Companies like Dainik Jagran, India today, etc. hire from college. According to me, 70% of students are getting placed. I want to work as an anchor after getting the degree, even now I am working as an intern on a local digital news platform.

UPES CSE Program provide the best insights!

No safety nets for getting admission in UPES as university is strict in taking students. UPES Engineering Admission Test also known as UPESAT has to be cleared. UPES has the best facilities!

Admission are through an entrance for engineering which is called UPESAT. The best thing is the paper can be given anytime as it's online and if students want they can directly come to the university and then give that exam.
