West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination(WBJEE). It's very reputed college.Transportation also good here.There was no interview process followed.As CSE have highest placement and scope so i choose it.

CSE is one of the best department here.Faculties are very helpful.They regularly held seminar.Also internship program me helps a lot to students.

College provide internship to students from 2nd year on wards. In reputed college like IIT,IISc,ISI.
Placement Experience
For 2017 placement scenario was as follows.All departments have total 60 students.Among them 28 from CSE,26 from ECE,18 from IT,15 from ME,14 from EE and 5 from CE placed..The major companies are CTS,Capgemini,Fusion Charts,Shapoorji Pallonji,IBM,kreeti Technologies,Bengal Beverage etc,Amazon Risk Management . Average package is 3.5-4 lakh per annum.
College Events
JGEC tech fest "SRISTI"is the largest techfest of North Bengal.Various events organised there.It's a big opportunity to students to show their skills.Also prize money for various competition is very high.Football is one of the popular game here.The organization is good and they are helpful.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Total fee for 4 year is approx 59000 Inr for CSE.We have to pay around 17250 Rs during admission.after that we will have to pay around 6 thousand from 2nd sem as fee structure(examination fee excluded).Also College offer Full fee and Half fee waiver for economically weak students.
Fees and Financial Aid
College provide Full and half tuition fee waiver for economically weak students.I also applied this year.College also help in getting loan from SBI.
Campus Life
There are many extra curricular activities happen here.Like "Jyoti" is a initiative where college student teaches small poor children free of cost.Also various initiative taken regularly like blood donation,Drees distribution to poor families and many more.Yes everyone present here got an ample opportunity to explore their inner talent.
Hostel Facilities
JGEC have 4 different hostels for boys and one for girls.In 1st year it's a 4 bed room,in 2nd it's 3 bed room,in 3rd it's 2 bed room and for final year it single bed room .PGs also available here nearby at very reasonable cost.Food at very good at hostels.But not known about PGs .Though many says PGs also offer good food.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni Network is very active.They are very helpful.They organised seminar for our development.Also they provide scholarship.They are very keen to improve the placement and infrastructure of our college.
Exam Structure
Sometimes we feel tired of the frequent exam and labs.But overall it a chill culture here.
Faculty
Faculties also very good.They always ready to solve our problems.Also they are very free to us.They are also very qualified.
