XIM University, Rural Management

It has a great course curriculum, as it involves Core courses, Elective courses, Fieldwork and RLLE( Rural Learning and Living Experience ), Summer internships, and Live projects. Based on my work experience from an Agri-tech background my preference was getting into a Rural Management program. They held tri-semesters in one year. Both exams and curriculum are a bit strict.

SIPs are good here. UPL, Parle, Dabus, ICICI bank, RBL bank, etc are coming to the campus for SIPs. The highest stipend offered this year was 100000, the average stipend was 40000 and the median stipend was 32000. 42% FMCG, BFSI 19%, 16% NBFC/MFI, 11% development, agribusiness 8%, consulting 4%.

The record says it provides 100% placements. From 2nd semester we can opt for SIPs. UPL, Parle, Amul, Dabur, RBL Bank, ICICI Bank, etc coming to the campus. You can also get a job off campus if you don't want to enter into the placements that are offered here.

The fee structure is equivalent to baby IIMs. They avail of scholarships for Toppers, they get to study abroad which is an exchange program. The students whose parental income is less than 4.5 lakhs get some opportunities for these scholarships. IDFC provides a scholarship, scholarship loan for students without a mortgage, CSIS scheme, KSSY scheme, etc.

Campus life is too good there. It organizes fests, functions, start nights, and tech fests. You can find any book in the library. We have cultural committees that held all these events. We have the Student Executive Council body, RMAX( Rural Managers Association of XIM University is the only functional team who helps us with live projects, case competitions, etc, and CAS ( Career Advisory Services) Committee which deals with Placements.

The hostel is too good here. Mess food I would rate the 4.5/5. Accommodations are also good. They provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The registration process for the hostel will start after joining the college. Affordability is average. Residing at the hostel is compulsory.

I have given CAT 2022. The application process was simple You must register on the official CAT website by providing your basic details and creating a login ID. Fill out the application form, which includes personal information. Upload the essential required documents. Pay the application fee online through the available payment methods. Review your application form and submit it before the specified deadline. Then I got a call letter for an interview round after being shortlisted for MBA in Rural Management program at XIM University. I was shortlisted for my CAT score. The cut-off for this was around 60. You can find the application form on the website itself e.g. xub.edu.in. It has a reservation of 50% quota for Odisha domicile. It has good placement records. If anyone wants to opt for a Rural management program then XIM University is a great option.
