I choose this course and college because of the good peer group and the good teaching pedagogy. The faculty members are all experienced ones with years of experience in both industry and academics. 9 out of 10 professors are PhD holders. Close to 103 Permanent and Visiting faculty teach at IMT across all the courses to nearly 1000 students. Case learning Pedagogy is taught at the very beginning of the foundation term and is followed throughout the program. Most professors are very friendly and approachable. 11 subjects may be taught in a trimester and 2 subject exams/day may be taken but just focusing on lectures in the class is sufficient.

All students get internship opportunities from the college with the highest, average and median salaries at 4lac, 1.04lac and 0.9lac respectively. The college also provides an opportunity for 3-4 live projects every month to students.

5th-semester students become eligible to sit for placements. Companies like Bain, Deloitte, Infosys, Reckitte, Marico, Pernod Richard, Nivia, and Asian Paints come for campus placement. Close to 150+ companies offer jobs to students. highest salaries abroad and domestically are 65.6 and 36 respectively. The average salary offered is 17.35 lacs per annum and all students get placement. I wish to become a product manager after the completion of my PGDM course.

The total fee including the hostel is 19.5 lakh for 2 years and the mess fees are separate. A 25% scholarship on academic fees is available to all girl students and some TFWS seats are available in the college. There is no particular fee hike policy.

The library is well furnished and well equipped. All students can access case study materials from some reputed colleges and have access to many business periodicals and journals. A class can accommodate close to 80 students but there are approx 65 students in each section. All students from different courses study together in the first two semesters. Classes are generally done through ppt on a projected screen. Wifi will be available throughout the campus. All students from different sections will have classes in the main academic building with 5 floors. One can find all sorts of sports being played daily at the campus ranging from football, cricket, badminton, and lawn tennis to chess and table tennis. IMT hosts the sports fest Chakravyuh annually which is the biggest sports fest across all the B-Schools. Close to 30 student clubs and committees run in IMT which range from sports to specialization specific to social clubs.

IMT has two hostels - one is on the main campus(Co-ed) and the other is known as CDL. Two people share a room and all students in a wing have a common bathroom-washroom. The food provided is very good with good no. of variety and very nutritious. Hostel fees are included in a common fee(19.5 lac) and not known and paid separately.

Completion of any 3-year or more Bachelors course with at least 50% marks. IMT application opens twice and can be filled on the college's website, once before CAT in September-November and then after CAT in January-February. It costs 2500/- for the application, which is common for admission across programs and all campuses of IMT. There is no reservation for any criterion in IMT. One can apply for the college through XAT, CAT score, and the cutoff is 90% and above but with a good profile, you can expect a call at 85%. Once you are shortlisted for the next step you will be given a date(or to choose from 3-4 dates) for your Critical Writing Skills exam and another date(similarly you choose 1 slot from available multiple slots) for PI. In the critical writing exam, you will be given a topic you have to write about in 25 mins and it will be proctored. For PI you will be asked questions ranging from your background, future aspirations, and subject knowledge. The process is seamless.

Yes, a critical thinking and writing ability test is conducted along with the interview. The interviewer may ask questions related to your background, your interest and some questions on your preferred specialization, and your motive for pursuing PGDM from IMTG. The critical writing ability test contains general topics where we have to write at max 500 words in 25 mins and it's a proctored exam.
