Course Curriculum Overview

Geology is the best subject ever I want to do it. it helps to create our practical knowledge further in the future. The student ratio is all over good. The teaching method is also nice and the teachers are well-graduated and settled..yes sem exams are on time yes if we study hard we can pass the exam definitely.

Internships Opportunities

The companies include IOCL, ONGC, and SAIL, and the stipend is 15000 per month. the projects include here is some research work, project work, field work, and many more workshops conducted in the department

Placement Experience

After the completion of graduation students became eligible for campus placements the companies that visit our dept are ONGC, IOCL etc Highest avg. the package offered here is 300000 per yr. 50% of students get placement every year...my plan is to do research in geology

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is literally skyrocketed but it's okay to study in cuk per sem its 17000 and it will continue till the 6th sem. yes, scholarship is also available as a national scholarship portal per year and campus placement is overall okay with a feasible stipend.

Campus Life

In every department, there is an annual fest forex. In our dept we have a fest known as geode it is 3 days programme in which we came to know everything and enjoyed a lot. In the library books are available too. sports and extracurricular activities are normal here.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are well good and maintained properly bed chair and table are provided in the room Next to meal quality is not so okk...but yes we can manage it...yes registration process for hostel is affordability

Admission

It was all over good. Counselling was nice. cut off was overall ok. the application process was well maintained and the teachers were overall nice they helped students and treat the students as their children.

Placement Experience:

From final year the students can apply for the placements. At least 60% should be there to be eligible for the placement. Many companies provides placements in this college like infosys, Accenture, Mahindra and many more. The average package as per the company is 200000 per annum and the highest package is 700000 per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to go to abroad for my post graduate.

Placement Experience:

Usually there are placements in our college. If any student does not get a placement the faculty guide us what we can do next like the companies in which we can apply and how we can go further. In my course after finishing the bachelors degree you can further study masters it is available in our college itself or yoj can aplly for companies but if you do your masters you have a better opportunity and high posts for you better career. The course is of 8 semester you become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. The last year that is seventh and eighth semester is basically practical and lot of projects provided. There various companies are seniors have applied and offered for example the genetic company in Bangalore that is Med gen. The highest package offered is 50000 and the average starts from 25000 placements in college. There is 75 percentage of students getting placements from our college. My plans after getting the degree is to go for further studies and do the masters after that i would like to do job along with my phd, this is my plan after getting my bachelors degree.

We have mandatory internship period after 2 years of teaching, and they provide internship and placement support. Different Companies come and take test and hire the eligible candidates. Regarding placement package, since it's just been 1 year of SST there cannot be said anything about it. But Scaler the parent Company of SST has average package of 22lakhs and highest package of 1.04cr.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists

Why you should join SST

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it was very curriculum heavy meaning the cirriculum was very good . the girls to boys ratio here is 1 : 8 . but this year only 200 peopel were selected out of 200. they are industry tech experts. they are passable

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to go into it field. The faculty is good here nothing to improve about that and the student ratio is 5:3. Qualification is good and the teaching method like some lectures is good. Term exams will be after 6 months from starting of sem and it's not as difficult as pu or 10th exams we can easily pass them.

I applied for a few Central University based on my entrance marks. But i couldn't able to make into other colleges due to shortage of marks.
