Remarks

Its an amazing place to study and learn life. We did not miss home at any point of time and the campus was filled with fun and interesting experiences

Entrance Preview

CAT exam. After clearing the cutoff for the college, we had two rounds (1) Group discussion and (2) Interview. Post that the offer has been given to study in the prestigious institute. It was my dream to do an MBA from prestigious institute and prepared accordingly

Course Curriculum Overview

The study method is more of real life case studies. We used to do lot of customer surveys, market research and we were guided by professers all the time.

Internships Opportunities

There were separate placement for internship and internship happens in top companies. 15000 per month. The experience was good with great support from the company executives

Placement Experience

The placement scenario was good, however was not too good because of market condition that time. Aditya birla group, Mckenzie and BCG

College Events

Fest - Manfest. cultural - varchasva. They were really big and footfall was around 2 lacs. for fund raising and for leading many competitions, students and faculty worked together

It was 6L overall at that point of time and we took education loan to afford it. Lot of banks offer at better rates for IIM students

Scholarship were provided for SC/ST category and underprivileged candidates.

Campus Life

Yes. there were good badminton, football courts and gym in the campus.

Hostel Facilities

Yes Hostel. They were single rooms and the hostel fees were included in the overall fees. Our mess mill was on monthly basis, and out mess food was very nutritious and tasty.

Alumni used to come to campus and give motivational/career building speeches time to time

Exam Structure

It was little tiring with lot of assessments, surprise quizzes. These things actually kept us going

Faculty

Faculty was very experienced in IIM lucknow. Most of them have Ph.Ds in the respective fields, or MBA pass outs from the prestigious colleges.

Worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements of our college is good. Most of our seniors got placed in good organizations. Companies lying under fortune 500 also comes in our college for placement. And before internship each student have to go through a live project provided by the college which will help in deciding the specialization.

I Business Institute overview from the point of view of the student.

Placement Experience:

Students when they comes back from their summer internships, starts appearing for the internship interviews. The final interviews takes place months before the completion of the course. Companies like amul, delloit, amazon, meesho, flipkart comes in the campus for hiring. Many students get the PPO from their intership companies and they dont have to sit fot the final placements. the highest package offerd is 28LPA and the lowest rangese between 6 to 8 LPA. Almost 90 percent students get placed and rest opts for starting their own startups. After completing the cousre i want to place myself in a reputed company in a reputed designation, however through our curriculum i am also looking to start my own startup and work upon it simultaneously my job.

Placements are good in the college as there is a new placement team hired. which is bringing the result. For my senior batch, companies like Amazon and Toyota came for hiring, and also companies from every domain are coming. The average package was around 9 LPA.

Comapny will visit in campus after September. And here alomst 80 to 85 company visit in this college. Likes hdfc, Dabur, icici, mother dairy, wipro, Infosys and many startup companies. And almost all student got job in campus. Last year highest package is 8.5 lacs and average package is 3.5 to 4 lacs. Here almost 90-95% student placed. IIM L student review

I applied to all the top B-schools but secured interview opportunities only from IIMA and IIMC. My top choices were IIMB and IIML (and all other top B-schools). I missed my opportunity at IIMB; I believe this was due to my interview. However, I managed to convert my next best option, IIML. I joined after taking the CAT, which is a relatively easy exam compared to JEE, NEET, and state entrance exams. I have gotten calls from IIM Indore and IIM Kozhikode apart from IIM Lucknow. I chose IIM Lucknow for it's academic rigor and also being ranked higher than the other IIMs. The eligibility is decided through the CAT exam and one-on-one interviews. Cutoffs can be as high as 99th percentile. Admission experience is very smooth. There are some documents to get before admission.
