Remarks

Good discipline, one of the best curriculum. Management should strongly work on placements and increase the student diversity from all region cast and creed rather than primarily focusing on Christian population only.

Entrance Preview

XAT - scored 90 + percentile (don't remember the exact figure). Took this college because of its reputation in Bangalore city and placement track record. Admission process comprises of application made to the college 1st. After getting a call need to apear for GD and PI. If everything went well you are though.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Curriculum is very dynamic as this college is autonomous and can twist its learnings according to the need of hour. They followed trimester system and each trimester had about 6-7 subjects to clear. Focus on research is also as they encourage the students to think beyond and be a responsible resident first.

Internships Opportunities

No there was no internship provisions. Its a premiere management college and do not have any internship programme available.

Placement Experience

3.5

The year I passed the placement was 100% and decent in terms of average offerings. Companies which made offers are TCS, WIPRO, AXIS BANK, RELIANCE MONEY, ICICI BANK, HDFC MUTUAL FUND, ACCENTURE, AMBA RESEARCH, METRO CASH AND CARRY, etc. Average salaries offered were in the range of 3L - 5L banck in 2008 where there was a crunch in job market.

College Events

4

Yes we did celebrated lot of events and participated in many management fests across the city. We hosted our own management fest called "verve" which lasted for 3 days every year and which witnessed partipation of about 20 management colleges of town. Cultural activities were throughout.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Being a Jesuit institution, fee structure was pretty reasonable. We can say it was nearly half the other colleges charged of same repute with same facilities. College had scholarship provisions for the one who cannot afford the fee but shown mettle in terms of there graduation scores. I paid about 3 lakhs as fee for 2 year course.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes there were scholarships to be won every year basis on the scores one can get and graduation marks. As it was a premiere management institute having visibility and reputation well known all major banks do education loans without a hitch.

Campus Life

3.5

Gender ratio is almost 50:50 without any bias. But yes being a Jesuit institution Christian students comprise about 70-80% per batch. Had loads of cultural activities including brain storming, quiz, dancing, singing, debates, presentations. Economic status of students was middle class and upper middle class. Students were mainly Keralites, tamilians and kannad. About 5% are from north India and other states.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel and mess facilities are pretty decent with twin sharing rooms. Advantage of being located in the heart of Bangalore city hostel has pretty big campus without any traffic noise. Rentals are reasonable too. It was about 5K a month that time. PG was i

Exam Structure

It was trimester system and we had 6-7 subjects to clear each trimester. It was not at all chilled out as in first 45 days we had mid terms and in next 45 days we had end term of trimester. And in between we had loads of assignments and presentations. So

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage
