I like the sports and extra curricular activities in my campus
The placement department is good for all
Faculty professor were good and friendly to all

Size of the campus and size of the field of the campus
Hostel faculty were not very good but better

Course Curriculum Overview

Because there were many benefits in this course and I have some of my aim which I completed by completing this course The faculty were good students ratio is 3:1 Teaching methods are quite good. It is very difficult to pass it examination was timely held

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees hike policy is affordable for normal and samely all student It is good for all. The fee is 85000rs. I don't know more Bahut scholarship but job opportunities are good and placement is 98.9 per cent sure For all student

Campus Life

The annual fest is held is Carpedium and Aasha . Availability of books and journals in the library is available all time for students Classrooms are in good environment Sports and extracurricular activities on campus are good

Admission

The eligibility of course to rank under 300000 in jee and under 50000 in wbjee The application form finds online fees is change in all years There will be no more benefits of reservation Yes, it improves to confirm the sheet at one time.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

BCET Durgapur.Good campus but bad faculty and placement opportunities.

I say this earlier. First of all my JEE rank was little bit low, so I can't get any govt college. And at that time the CSE fees in almost every private college is arround 4 lakhs. But they asked high donation. Which was not affordable by my family. So I choose this college. Also I hear all private colleges are same.we have to do everything by ourselves. Faculties don't help us properly. And for admission you have to give WB JEE entrance exam. Other than that nothing. Also you can have a direct admission....Read More
