Remarks

The college is really huge , but the authorities must use the space and make correct usage of the area . College is satisfactory as compared to other colleges . It is good in terms ofstudies . Canteen is fine .

Entrance Preview

Admission to college is by percentage of marks ypu scored in best of 4 subjects. I scored 92.75 % in boards so i got admission here. You have to submit documents and all and admission is done.

Course Curriculum Overview

I like accountancy so i am liking my subjects. In first semester basically we are revising 11th and 12th things. Lets hope studies are not tough in subsequent semesters.

Internships Opportunities

The Placement Cell of college provides students various opportunities to get good internship. Students can get internship anytime they want to get.

Placement Experience

Placement cell is quite good. Placement people have worked really hard to make improvement every year, helping students to get into good companies. E&Y, KPMG etc visit campus for recruitment.

College Events

DU colleges are famous for fest life. Big bog feat are held in the college where big celebraties come to perform. Last year hardy sandhu gave his performance in college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is affordable. It is even less than the fees i used to pay at my school. We give 13450 for each year which is very nominal. Transportation expenses are more than the fees we give.

Fees and Financial Aid

College provides scholarships to the students who deserve it. Mostly students dont opt for it as fees is already so less.

Campus Life

College has different societies for different extracurricular activities like dance, music, photography and what not.

Hostel Facilities

DSC does not provide hostel facilities. Students mostly stay in Pgs

As if now we have not interacted with any of the alumini of the college.

Exam Structure

We have internal and external exam. External exam is held once in an year.

Faculty is so so because teachers depend upon traditional method instead of new technologies. What else we can expect from government colleges?

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Honest review of SLC

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I have applied for I have applied for few of the north campus colleges and few other colleges from the South campus. I got confirmed admission form DCAC. I chose it because I am a tabla player and music society is very good. The admissions are generally accepted to CUET UG examination. No I didn't applied for any other college and I choose this college over other college because of the course and the exposure which I get in this college it might be possible I will not get in any other college.
