Course Curriculum Overview
I chose CSE as it's always an ever-green course in the market, there is always a demand for CS graduates, the faculties are one of the best at RNSIT, they help in the all-round development of students both in terms of academics and placements, the exams were held on time and it was not at all difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities
I did a short internship at a company called Enmaz the role was data analytics and machine learning, I was tasked with analysing time series data from machines and writing algorithms that will help predict when a fault occur in the motor, the stipend was around 5k, this was not through the placement dept.
Placement Experience
The students are eligible to take up placements from the 6th semester. The average package is 4lpa, the college provides placement training both technically and non-technically which is according to the current industry standards, which helped me a lot in getting placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no fee hike, fees are set as per the guidelines received from VTU, I received a scholarship from the Government (SSP), I recently got places at Maersk through campus placement, the stipend I received was 50000.
Campus Life
The annual fest conducted is called Parichay, in the month of September, there is a wide variety of books in the state of the art library at rnsit. Annually a sports fest is conducted which includes all varieties of sports activities from Table tennis to cricket every sport is given equal importance.
Admission
I feel RNSIT is one of the best colleges in Bengaluru to do engineering, I personally have gained immense knowledge from the Computer Science department. eligibility- depends on the KCET/COMEDK rank. For more details about admission- you can visit the campus, or check out the website: rnsit.ac.in
