There is nothing I like here. But I can say that I like my friends I met here.
Also we will get a lot of opportunities to explore different cultures and languages.

Dislikes

The university administration is acting like an autocratic.
They are not providing a quality food in mess
The health center in the university do not have enough facilities. The university do not even have there own ambulance.

Course Curriculum Overview

Bachelor of Science (B.sc). maths, physics, and chemistry are triple main courses. Therefore I can do my PG in each subject depending on my interests after completion of this course. In this course, we have three theory papers( maths, physics, chemistry) and two practicals(physics and chemistry) compulsory.

Class Size: 28Course Fees: INR 28000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee is around 14000 Rs. Per semester and hostel and mess fees are around 10000 per semester. We won't get messed off even if we don't eat mess food. It is compulsory that we should pay the mess fee then only they will provide the accommodation in hostels

Campus Life

Once a year, University conducts arts and sports competitions called ankoor and akyukth. While talking about the library in Cuk not enough books and journals are available there. Also when the exam season it's really difficult to find a space for us to sit and study in the library. But in hostels, they are not providing enough space for a study room. The library is not 24-7 accessible.

Admission

I applied through cucet ug examination 2021. It was an all-India entrance test conducted for admission to different courses in central universities. Now this examination is known as cuet. We can write this exam after +2 qualified.

Placement Experience:

From final year the students can apply for the placements. At least 60% should be there to be eligible for the placement. Many companies provides placements in this college like infosys, Accenture, Mahindra and many more. The average package as per the company is 200000 per annum and the highest package is 700000 per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to go to abroad for my post graduate.

Placement Experience:

Usually there are placements in our college. If any student does not get a placement the faculty guide us what we can do next like the companies in which we can apply and how we can go further. In my course after finishing the bachelors degree you can further study masters it is available in our college itself or yoj can aplly for companies but if you do your masters you have a better opportunity and high posts for you better career. The course is of 8 semester you become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. The last year that is seventh and eighth semester is basically practical and lot of projects provided. There various companies are seniors have applied and offered for example the genetic company in Bangalore that is Med gen. The highest package offered is 50000 and the average starts from 25000 placements in college. There is 75 percentage of students getting placements from our college. My plans after getting the degree is to go for further studies and do the masters after that i would like to do job along with my phd, this is my plan after getting my bachelors degree.

We have mandatory internship period after 2 years of teaching, and they provide internship and placement support. Different Companies come and take test and hire the eligible candidates. Regarding placement package, since it's just been 1 year of SST there cannot be said anything about it. But Scaler the parent Company of SST has average package of 22lakhs and highest package of 1.04cr.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists

Why you should join SST

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it was very curriculum heavy meaning the cirriculum was very good . the girls to boys ratio here is 1 : 8 . but this year only 200 peopel were selected out of 200. they are industry tech experts. they are passable

Do it for yourself

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to go into it field. The faculty is good here nothing to improve about that and the student ratio is 5:3. Qualification is good and the teaching method like some lectures is good. Term exams will be after 6 months from starting of sem and it's not as difficult as pu or 10th exams we can easily pass them.

I applied for a few Central University based on my entrance marks. But i couldn't able to make into other colleges due to shortage of marks. When i got selected into this university, the first thing that attracted me was, the varied section of students which gives a platform to explore about various cultures.
