Experience after spending 5 years at MU

Course curriculam is very good. It is mostly based on practical skills. Personally speaking about my department there are very few faculties are there as i our department is one of the new department so there are not that much student taking admissions in it so there are limited number of faculties present.

Students will be eligible for placement from last year. There are various criterias set by the company about percentage of students. Some requiers 7 CGPA some require 7.5 CGPA. Average package is 6LPA

I took the admission via ACPC and there it was mentioned that the tution fees will be 89,000(As of September 2022) per year for B.tech. But at the time of admission they said that the annual fess will be 98,000. We can apply for various scholarships like MYSY in which you will get half of annual fees upto 50,000 from Government of Gujarat. But here also, as University had shown in ACPC and in Government records we will get half of that amount. For ex: I am paying 98,000 fees per year so I should get 49,000 from MYSY scholarship as it will be the half of 98,000. But, instead of 49,000 I will only get 44,500 rs. which is half of 89,000(Fess on Government record)

The life in campus is pretty good and calm. Every year University organizes it's own fest known as MU FEST which is one of the best fest in Gujarat. It will be of 2 to 3 days in which various departments organizes their events. Each department oarganize 2 events. 1 is technical and other is non-technical. Also we have 2 big libraries in the campus and it holds the Guinness world record for "Most people participating in a Reading Relay - Single Work." There are all types of book available inside library. You can read it by sitting inside library or else you can issue the book and can take it with you for 15 days.

It is one of the best hostel provided by any university from all over the Gujarat. It contains various types of rooms(4 bed, 8 bed, 4 bed AC, 2 bed, etc...) Hostel also have mess facility, Laundary facility, Gym, grounds for various sports like Cricket, Football, Basket ball, Tennis, Volleyball, Indoor ground for Kabaddi, etc... There are 2 types of mess 1 is national(VEG) mess for Indian students and another is International(Non veg) mess for students who are coming for out of India. Food quality of the mess is quiet average but still it's better than many institues or hostels. Before lockdown it was superb but after lockdown the quality of food gets low.

There is no entrance test. The criteria for the admission is:- For Diploma - Should Pass class 10th Board exams For Bachleors - Should Pass class 12th Board exams For Masters - Should complete Bachleors without any backlog remaining For D2D - Should pass diploma without any backlog remaining
