Remarks

If i summaries and rate the college then the college is average to study and if you want only a B.Tech degree then you can come over here. This college is not at all bad. Good point is behaviour of facilities are good.

Entrance Preview

I wrote JEE( JOINT ENTRANCE EXAM ) and according to the rank of JEE i got admitted to this college that was my preference though. There were no interviews but there were few rounds of counselling done by the University. The craze behind the Electronics and gadgets made me choosing the subject ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Of course no doubt this course is too good for the real lovers of gadgets. Based on theory we are doing practical works but I'm not satisfied as there's no research initiative taken by the college. As i heard from seniors we just have to do some porjects in final year and this is the only one we do in 4years of course.

Internships Opportunities

Yes the college provides internships in final year. As i am in 3rd year I did a month training in BSNL with ₹6000 training fees. The experience was too good as i got few extra knowledge about how a telecom company works and how they provide hastle free communication to the costumers.

Placement Experience

3

The placement is good about 60+ percentage of students got placed with average of 3.5lakhs per annum. TCS, TECH MAHINDRA, ZYCUS, ADANI, MINDTREE etc were the few major companies recruiting.

College Events

2

Zazen and Zephyr is the only technical fest ww celebrate once in a year that also of very low budget and not as big as other colleges. But the contribution towards the fest by the students and organisations were too good.

Fee Structure And Facilities

According to me the fees were bit higher. If for a middle class students its bit unaffordable then think of lower class students how they will manage to study in college if they were not been able to deposit the fees. But good point is there's lots of schemes or scholarships for local students of lower classes with that they only have to pay tuition fees. ₹ 94900 is the yearly fee of college( excluding hostel ).

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah college provides few scholarships to the local resident and i am outside state student I'm not eligible for any scholarships. Yes the college helps in getting loan from various banks by providing documents as required by the bank.

Campus Life

3.5

No there's no extra curricular activities in college. The only one is Quizzotica ( a quiz contest ). And by means of only quiz contest we can't explore our inner talent and same with the faculties.

Hostel Facilities

1

2years i was in hostel and now I'm staying in a rent house with group of my friends. Hostel rooms were pretty good and in terms of infrastructure the infrastructure is too good. In each room there will be 3students and all of them were provided with individual chair and study table. They don't have PGs. We used to pay ₹15000 for bedding means for rooms and ₹ 35000 for fooding so the toatal of ₹ 50000. Because of the bad quality of food i left the hostel otherwise the hostel fees was good and affordable.

Alumni/Alumna

There's one alumni meet every year but not heard when it happens amd never interacted with the alumni.

Exam Structure

Yeah this the most irritating part. Lots of pre exams test like class test , surprise test, quiz test and we have to do all the labs otherwise for every missing lab 10marks is deducted.

Faculty

2.5

Most of the faculties did M.Tech from various prestigious college and few did PhD. I will not say all facilities are interactive. Very few faculties are interactive. The faculties who are interactive they explain all theories with practical examples and the very next day they ask questions from students.

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.
