- Mess food is not good, infact the worst food.
- Not well connected to market and allow only to visit outside campus in morning
- Infrastructure is not so good when compared to other NITs
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is nice based on MHRD, the course was a bit fast in the first year due to session delay but now it will be okay as it has maintained its track. Faculty members are well-educated, kind, and very helpful in nature.
Internships Opportunities
Not much idea about internships as I am in 2nd year but as heard from seniors there is a good internship opportunity in our college and they are also doing internships and earning a good amount of money along with studies.
Placement Experience
Placement is the thing in which the college is too good, the average placement of our college is 9.7 lakh per annum. The highest package last year was 47 lpa followed by 45,43 and 35 lpa . Internships are also provided in our college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is not the same for all, students who have a family income less the 1 lakh per annum need to give 7500 per year, whose family income is between 1 lakh and 5 lakh per annum have to give 35000 per year, and those who students whose family income is above 5 lakh per annum need to give 77000 per annum.
Campus Life
Campus life is good, the infrastructure is not so nice but it's located in the lap of mountains so, we are very well connected to nature. There are many clubs like dance clubs, coding clubs, sports clubs, etc. The library is huge with good stocks of books.
Hostel Facilities
Hostle facility is not too good, hostle rooms are mangable, very nice electrical connection but mess food is not too good although they make different meals according to routine but their quality are not good.
Admission
In April 2022 I filled up the form for JEE Mains and in June I gave the exam for JEE Mains and scored 91 percentile. With this rank, I got a seat in the Department of mechanical engineering at NIT Manipur.
