Chitkara University pros and cons

I was quite interested in engineering from my childhood days which made me choose this course Faculty to student ratio is average like 1:80 but still if you have some issues they are supportive Factualys in Chitkara have phd in the they subject they are teaching They have semester system and the semester is divided into two phases every phase have sessional test every second Saturday like 3-4 sts per subject and out of which best are recorded and end term of that subject when the phase ends

companies like Razorpay Philips, bajaj came here for job profiles like web developer, Average package was 7 lpa and the stipend was around 25000 per month Projects that you should have the latest technologies and your project shouldn't be copied you should have deep knowledge of it

Placements start from the 6th semester and a good no. Of companies visiting here, new startups also visited and renowned companies like Bajaj, Philips, and just pay also visited this year, approx 250+ companies visit here Highest package this year 2023 was 36 lakhs from just pay Average package is around 6-7lpa Approx 80 percent of students get placed I will plan to get a good job after getting this degree

The course fee is constant if it is 82000 then it will be 82000 if all the years Apart from hostel and transportation fees get a hike of 10 per cent Every year Chitkara doesn't provide any scholarship or test apart it you can apply for financial study loan they accept just go to the Babbage block and they will help you

The main cultural fest they have is rangrej and its Asia's biggest fest and it is done on a very big scale apart from it they have many cultural fests and every month end they have a DJ night but for many months due to covid or any other emergency, these things are also delayed. Rangrej was done last 3 years back and they are planning to do it this year but no updates till Books are available in the library you can get them issued Classrooms have basic amenities like a projector acs desks Sports and extra cultural activities are on point they have a basketball court volleyball court a swimming court
