Sometimes hostel food can be issue as it is sometimes not upto mark
Auto Rickshaw connectivity can be issue due to high demand and price issue
Sometimes shop can be a bit walking distance like for shoes buying

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course as it provided me with a great opportunity for Career Growth. The faculty was quite helpful and they were great mentors. Many faculty were NIT and IIT-qualified. Term exams tested your knowledge and concepts. No rote learning is required.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship Opportunity is with good companies like Ultratech, Saint Gobain, and L&T and if students get outside opportunities, college is helpful in every possible way by providing all required documents and formalities.

Placement Experience

There is Placement Process from the 7th semester. First will come IT Placements from the month of August. Core placement will start in the month of November. Famous Companies visiting the college are L&T, Ashiana Housing, Adani, and Ultratech.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees were mainly tuition fees. Special discounts will be provided to students previously associated with KIIT. The scholarship is provided after semester results if performance is good. Talk with Dean for further queries and Campus 1.

Campus Life

Life on campus is quite happening. With the infrastructure for Sports and Gym. Classrooms are equipped with Air Conditioning for proper ambiance. The library has books for specialization and a central library for diverse topics and fields. The presence of Clubs is there for releasing your inner creativity.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel Facility is good with ample room space and daily cleaning. The toilets are well maintained and the Food quality is acceptable. Hostel Warden is friendly and always there in times of need. The mess committee is there to address any issue with food.

Hostel Fee: INR 32000 per year

Admission

KIITEE Entrance Exam qualification required. KIIT Website has all available. Select School of Civil Engineering in it. I have taken General Category admission. If any other category go fill it in the admission form. The admission Process was smooth and had no issues.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

Placement Experience:

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .
