Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is just like other B schools. I choose IIM V for my MBA. The student-faculty ratio is 9:1. All the faculty are well qualified. They are PhD degree holders and some among them are having work experience too.
Internships Opportunities
Summer Internships are compulsory for everyone as per academic requirements. There's a separate placement cell for ensuring internship and placement opportunities for everyone enrolled in the program.
Placement Experience
Currently, I'm in my first year of college so can't say about ours. But our seniors got placed in good companies with a good package. Many got PPO too. 100% placement is there. Many IT, FMCG, and Finance companies visit every year offering different roles.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is just like other IIMs. It's about 18L for 2 years. But no worry about high fees as one can easily get an educational loan by just showing the offer letter of the institution. There are many scholarship options including ML and DML.
Campus Life
Life at IIMs is chilling. There are many opportunities for everyone here. Here, IIMV their different clubs for Sports, Arts, Dramatics, Investment, Cultural, Business, Entrepreneurial, etc. A library facility is also available. The hostel, Mess, and Classes all are fully air-conditioned.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels have all facilities. Lift, Washing Machine, Refrigerator, Television, etc. All rooms are single occupancy. Rooms are air-conditioned. Mess isn't inside the hostel. There's a common mess for all hostels. We have meals four times a day.
Admission
Admissions are made based on the CAT Score. To get admission to IIM V one must write CAT Exam. Other than CAT his/her marks in 10th, 12, and graduation will also be considered for getting shortlisted for IIM V. After shortlisting, the institutes mail to eligible candidates for enrolling themselves for the admission process. After that again shortlisting is done to select students for Interviews.
Interview Experience
For our batch there was Interview only. The written test was CAT exam score only. In the Interview, they asked basic HRA questions, General Awareness, Recent news, market, etc. As I was having work ex so instead of asking me about my undergrad they asked me questions regarding my work experience only.
