Course Curriculum Overview

4

I am a Maths lover. Hence I wanted to pursue a career in it. During our graduation, I got to learn computer programs and how it makes maths easy and compatible. Yeah, it is as fascinating as it sounds. IITs offer Masters in Maths and Computing. When I got to know about BHU DST-CIMS. This is a new start to this course which holds a very bright future. This course is the most in-demand and its uses are going to fascinate every field. In total, there are 50 seats in this course. Teachers who hold expertise are called to take sessions in various fields. As per the student ratio, the faculties are good. Experienced teachers and young scholars are a great help to the students. The teachers are not just focused on completing the syllabus, they make sure we learn we enjoy we take an interest in this subject. The exams are conducted on time mostly but as our session was late, it was delayed a bit but they are managing this. You have to work hard as maths and computer together isn't easy.

Internships Opportunities

3

As there is an issue of attendance. It is mandatory to have an attendance of 75%. Hence the internship can be done online. For online you must make sure that classes ain't missed. Inside the campus, there are certain internships, training programs, and workshops. You just need to be updated.

Fees and Financial Aid

The facilities that we get are worth the cost. The computer labs, library are open to us. The students are allowed to utilize it properly. This is a special course hence it's fees is 43000. The course doesn't provide any scholarship. I don't have a lot of ideas about the scholarship. You can avail of the internship opportunity online as there are lots of courses running online and on campus. For now, the placement cell is not there. All the responsibility you have in your shoulders though the chance of placement may increase in the coming years as the work for it is in process.

Campus Life

4.5

BHU is one of the most renowned colleges. And it gives you every reason for it. Its environment is very unique and positive. Various programs such as singing, dancing, and other sports. Swimming too. College makes sure the students are never deprived of any opportunity. Though the Science students don't get the time for it. And it is so true but the science faculty organizes its program to maximize participation and overall development.

Admission

I am a student of M.Sc. Maths and Computing. For this, I scored well in CUET- PG entrance exam with a Maths paper. Eligibility:- Bachelor's of Science/Arts ( Maths or Stats or had maths as an elective subject). Application process:- For the PG programs, you have to go through the NTA-conducted CUET PG exam. Surpass the cutoff. Every college releases its cut-off marks after the CUET result and students who have applied for BHU can only avail of these admission benefits. If selected, then the admission process is easy. The faculties are very helpful. The only improvement required is to conduct exams on time. NTA should be more punctual so that students don't waste their time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course was quite comprehensive and relevant. They covered all the fields of life sciences in depth- molecular biology, recombinant DNA technology (RDT), microbiology, biostatistics, instrumentation, and immunology, among others. The combination of both foundational and applied topics was the whole reason I chose the course at SVSU. In terms of preparationfor the real world applications, the curriculum does a great job in building clarity and founding strong concepts. For students aiming to prepare for GATE, NET, and higher research projects to delve into, the syllabus provides a strong foundation. Regarding improvements, the lab work could be more one-on-one rather than a bulk implementation, and more hands-on experience needs to be added to the course in comparison to the theoretical knowledge. Speaking of the examination pattern, it works in semesters, with the first one occurring in December, then around April, and the last one around June-July. Other than that, there are internal tests held bimonthly and project submissions before the examination session.
