My dream college.

Some buildings and equipment in the lab need to be changed they are outdated and should be upgraded as early as possible also the director of our institution at that time was not active.

I got admission in this college through sponsorship from my parent institution, MES College of Engineering. For the admission process, there were test and interview.

We had four semesters in the first two semesters, 5 theory papers and one practical lab was there all the subjects were related to Computer Science and Engineering and all the subjects were very interesting.

As I got admission there through sponsorship from my parent Institution i had 2 years bond so I didn't applied for any campus placement interview or internship programs.

The placement cell at NIT Calicut is extremely good fom my class, the placement were 100% (Except we 4 people under sponsored category) companies like Google, Amazon, TCS, Infosys, HP, Yahoo, etc were visited the campus for the placement biggest offering was from Google and the amount were 80Lakh per year one of my classmate were placed in that company.

There were technical fest "Thathva" and cultural fest "Ragam" both are 3 days program these programs are national level programs and students from the colleges of other states of India were participated.

The fee structure was feasible for me. It comes around 25,000 Indian rupees for a semester there we had 4 semesters so totaling around 1 Lakh also we had hostel fees which comes around 1750 per month.

I didn't availed any scholarship from the college since this is a central government institution there was any scholarship from the college side also I didn't took any loan from other sources.

It was the best college campus I ever felt in my life all the facilities were available there including labs, sports equipment, grounds, courts, etc also there were so many technical clubs like mathematics club, Music club, Science club, ISTE chapter, ACM chapter, etc and they conducted so many workshops also.

I was stayed at hostel it was actually apartments provided by the college in each apartment there were around 9 students accommodated there were 3 rooms and two bathrooms in each apartment.

Our seniors were very helpful for us they were with us around one year in the campus we still are maintaining our contacts through facebook, telephone, whatsapp, etc.

There were two internal exams to finalize our internal marks for each subject and one final or external exam also there were one internal lab exam and one external lab exam.

Our Faculties at NIT Calicut were very friendly around 90% of the faculties in our department are PHD holders we can approach them for any reason at any time.
