I choose it because I have an interest in this field. I want to be a good programmer in future. Faculty: student ratio is nearly 20:1. Faculties are highly qualified, some are doing PHD and Post Drt. Internal exams are also conducted by the university (MAKAUT).

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 550000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Last year our fees were hiked to 550000/-. It is not that middle-class family friendly. You can get many types of scholarships, college will definitely help you to get scholarships, teachers are helpful in this.

Campus Life

We have tech fest PRABUDDHA, and our annual fest is YAGVIK. We enjoyed a lot in this events. \ You can find many types of books in our college library. We have our sports fest, there are many types of indoor and outdoor sports. We have many clubs like the Art and drama club, photography club, and coding club.

Admission

Eligibility is just 10+2 and had a JEE MAIN or WBJEE result card. The application form is available on the WBJEE website. Application fees are 500 but for seat booking 5000 is required. Application dates are given on the WBJEE website

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
