What Students Say
Likes
- Faculty is approachable, campus is small so we don't have to walk a lot (it matters)
Dislikes
- Campus life is not really there unless you find the right group of friends
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I'm interested in computer programming and couldn't get into NSUT's or DTU's main campus. Almost all the faculty is Ph. D qualified and teach fine, some are better than others like in any other institution. You'll have a mid-semester and an end-semester exam, and a bunch of class tests and assignments in between them, Passing is not really hard but you'll have to work somewhat hard to get a good CGPA.
Internships Opportunities
All of this data is not yet available for this year since placements are still going on but companies like Google, Microsoft, Sprinklr, and many more have come so far. Companies are offering equal opportunities to both Main campus and East campus students.
Placement Experience
Internship and placement opportunities are available for third and fourth-year students respectively. The current internship/placement season has just started so those numbers are not available for this year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is increased by around Rs 10000 every year. In my first year, I paid Rs 219000 (no scholarship or concession) and in my second year, I'll have to pay Rs 229000. I think there are certain scholarships available for category students.
Campus Life
Our annual fest is Moksha and this year it was on the 6th, 7th, and 8th of April. Artists - Vishal Shekhar, Asees Kaur, DIVINE. Tech Fest is Resonanz (October). All kinds of books are available for issue in the library. Society events and most of the extracurricular activities are held on Main Campus.
Admission
Entrance exam - JEE main. You can apply for admission through JAC Delhi's portal once the counseling process starts. JAC Delhi fee is about Rs 70000, and once your admission is confirmed you have to pay the balance fee (Colleg's first-year fee - Rs 70000).
